BOSS RE-202 Space Echo Digital Delay Guitar Effect Pedal

You need to work at getting the sound right, but once understood it works well

There are a bucket loads of tones in this pedal, it would take days to write about it so I'd advise going on YouTube and searching it up. What i will say is that sounds incredible and has a lot of different options to customise your delay intervals. It can be a bit daunting at first but the head selector is basically 1,2,3 & 4 beats and you can have the delay come in on any of those intervals at varying speeds of your choosing. Also dont forget to read the manual because there are hidden settings, for instance you can change the type of reverb but its not a simple affair. You have to power off the pedal and then back on while holding the "TAP" button. Then turn the "MODE SELECTOR" knob to the "12" setting and use the MEMORY button to cycle through the reverb types (spring, hall, plate, room, ambience). Press the TAP button again to save the new setting and exit... crazy. There are many more settings that are hidden like that, it appeals to my inner tinkerer.... and if you like to experiment then this is well worth the cash if its on sale like it was for me.

Amazing for dub techno solid build and very good value. I’m surprised at how this can made at such a low price. In a mix I doubt anyone would be able to tell this from the original Roland tape echo. 👍

I just wish they printed the rhythmic values for the delays on the unit. Or they could release a cardboard overlay to do that? It’s a great sounding unit. The wow/flutter is fun to play with and tap tempo works easy enough.

Endless experimentation and inspiration from this pedal. Combine the RE-2 with a spacey reverb and take a trip into the cosmos...

Pointless - It sounded terrible to the extent whereby I must have used it for a few minutes playing about with the settings before I realised that it had not saved me any money by not having to buy the Echoplex delay, but it instead ended up costing me a further £350 because once I bought the Echoplex, I then realised it sounded terrible without its associated preamp pedal.

暖かいいディレイとリバーブで、ほんのりかける感じで使ってます。ホントはエルキャピスタンを買いたかったのですが、コスパを考えてこれで満足です。

Lo utilizzo sia con la chitarrache con quasi tutti i miei synth. Il suono é qualcosa di bellissimo, mi piace quasi di piú del tape delay di strymon. Versatilissimo il controllo del tono e del reverbero. AWESOME!

Boring with standard setting. But when changed to 2s Max delay it opens up.
