The plastic is noticeably thicker compared to every other electric fly swatter I tried from amazon. This looks like something that will last a decent amount of time and won't fall apart within a month or so. 10/10.It works just as well too and is a lot cheaper than the others.It's a big harder to use because it's smaller. However, you could argue that the smaller racket area actually has some advantages because it makes it easier to get into tight spaces and you're less likely to whack stuff you didn't mean to. So it's more of a precision instrument. Takes slightly more skill but not hard to use overall.

I bought this because I had a lot of good reviews. It's easy to hold and a few mosquitoes have gotten in the house and when I grab the racket they know! They disappear only to come back and bite me and I have yet to be able to kill one! This is not the fault of the racquet. Our mosquitoes are too smart here in Texas. But I have faith this racket will do its job!

This zapper is perfect. Bought 2 because we are dealing with fruit flies. It's so much fun hearing them snap crackle and pop lol!

If there is anything I hate in this world more than mosquitos... IT'S FLIES! This product was able to uphold my mid- air tennis ball-less swings as I fry these flies in midair. On day 3 I had gripped it too hard out of anger where this fly had dodged 3 of my hardest swings and I broke the battery cover. It definitely kills, slaughters, cooks' flies. Incinerates mosquitos. However, gnats... If you had a fat one struggling to fly around your kitchen, this product will kill it. If it is too small, it will get away.

I swear this has got to be the greatest invention known to man. We’ve had such a ridiculous problem with gnats and NOTHING has been able to clear them out completely. We have a guinea pig and every bedding change we would be infested with them and have to constantly wipe off little bug bodies after smushing them. THIS disintegrates them. Do I have some remorse? Sure. But the sheer pleasure of hearing the zap and watching them disappear trumps that feeling. My son actually prefers this over playing Roblox! So if your looking for a great way to get rid of the pesky bugs and keeps your kid off of technology look no further. Ya got a winner here. Any house warming I get invited to this will be there gift. Seems to be well made and work for the intended purpose. Black & Decker is a well known brand. I hope it’s durable and lasts.

So I've had this bug zapper for a little bit and have been enjoying it immensely. I noticed the last time I used it the battery compartment lid kept popping off when I swung the racket at a bug, exposing the batteries. Thus allowing the bugs to get away. When I put the lid back on the battery compartment I noticed a crack in the handle next to the battery compartment which proved to be a weak area. The zapper still works. It's just I had to tape it up to make the handle stronger so the cover would stop popping off when I would swing at a bug. Which can be annoying. I taped it up. So now when I change the batteries I have to remove all the tape. That's the reason I changed my review from five stars to three.
