Dragons Love Tacos 2: The Sequel

My grandson loves this book! I had to return one copy because I mistakenly bought it twice. The illustrations and story are fun, as they were in the first book.

Our kids are obsessed with this book! We have had the first one for a while now, so when I realized there was a second one we grabbed it immediately. The illustrations are adorable (as always) and the story is fun and playful. It’s like a little adventure. The kids love the little Easter egg with Old Man Fookwire at the end too. We say, he loves cottage cheese but tacos are a close second! Thank you to the amazing author and illustrator for this awesome book.

This is a fun read and allows kids to really giggle at story time because it comes to you with unconventional, silly ideas such as Taco Trees! It is an engaging book, your little one will recall snippets and details of it and it also fosters interest in dragons, tacos and spicy foods! If you loved the first edition then you will love this one too. The graphics in this edition are slightly more detailed and our kiddos enjoyed looking at the pages in detail and pointing out various aspects. In all, highly recommend this book. It’s a very fun read for a family to enjoy.

We are learning to read now but my grandson loves to be read to still. This series was so good to us so we got the second book. It is making a nightly read he can't seem to miss. I enjoy it too. He is 6 and can't wait to read them on his own.

My son absolutely loves the original so naturally has had to get the sequel. The story is a fun and silly add on to a much loved original story.

Both this and the OG have been huge hits in our house. Gave it to our toddler when she was about 20 months and she loves "reading it", loves it just as much as the OG.

My kids love this book

My son loved the first book so much he's literally ripped it to shreds turning the pages as we read it together. I wish he would rip this sequel to literal shreds. It's shockingly terrible. Unlike the original which is exceedingly easy to follow, this book is confusing even for me as an adult. I mean, as an adult I get what is happening, but the number of mental leaps that need to be taken to follow the story is far beyond what a kid can handle. I can honestly say, from a writing perspective, this is the worst published kids book I have ever read, and I say that as a fan of the original. Don't support this trash; don't buy this book.

4yo: I really liked it when the dragons ate tacos what I didn’t like was when they ate diapers, that was a bit crazy. I think all my kindy friends will like this book.

The fun never ends with this series! This is a huge favorite of two boys, aged 3 and 4. Great story and fabulous illustrations. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A "must read" for anyone who loves books by Adam Rubin and illustrations by Daniel Salmieri. My grand kids were excited to receive it and loved it just as much as the first story. Lots of silliness. Don't forget to read the dedication!
