I love these! It's second time I've purchased. They hold the hook well. Great quality, look good. They are durable i've never had one break. The are compatible with about any hook however depending on what kind of fishing your doing the hook may be too big for these to accommodate. I like my hooks not getting caught in anything when poles not in use. I also love not being stuck when I tie a hook on. My hands are shaky and eyes aren't what they use to be and these help so much.

I lost 2 finger tips in an accident. This helps me tie knots for fly fishing. when I'm out in the stream And keeps me from getting poked at least so easy, wonderful gadget.

I love this tool! Ok here it is. For tying knots and transporting with the hook protected, this tool is awesome, easy to use, and not difficult to open as previous reviews have mentioned. What you get is 2 hook eze tools in one package. They are rather small but have worked for small trout hooks to large catfish hooks. The plastic feels cheap, the hinge seems like it's not going to last very long being made of the same plastic. One of the two tools already has a small tear in the hinge after one weekend of use and showing it off. The line cutter on back reminds me of a dental floss cutter, and it works amazingly. Even if the hinge breaks I'll tape it together so I can still use it. I'll likely be buying more, but no where near as much as if the price was closer to the quality. I think 8usd would be a better price point for this item with the current size and quality.

This HOOK-EZE tool is a great addition to my fishing gear. It makes tying knots easier while also helping keep the hook covered so I’m less likely to stick myself while working with it. It’s compact enough to keep in my tackle box and especially useful when dealing with small hooks or trying to tie a knot when your hands are wet. Simple idea, but very practical. I’ll definitely keep this with my fishing gear.

Recommend you seriously consider alternative to this tool. Bought this to hold small hooks (#12-#20) for bluegill. It holds hook steady with hook point protruding a little; not desired. It holds hook with point enclosed but shank is loose. I ca live with the 2nd approach but not preferred. The tool easily open with any force applied to shank/eye in the direction that opens the cover. Really annoying. It is functional with limitations.

Keeps hooks safely covered when transporting. Look good. Work in helping tying string.

Handy little accessory Just a bit on the expensive sider BUT I will buy it again cause there is nothing else like it.

It makes attaching a line to a hook so much easier and safer. So I recommend it as a very useful device.
