No maltodextrin or dextrin - and very sweet
This is a great product if your trying to avoid the additives that are often put in powdered varieties of sucralose (such as maltodextrin and dextrin). It's quite sweet and a little goes a long way,.

Great taste
For anyone on a keto diet, in my opinion this is the best sweetener available. I've been on keto for little more than a year now and have tried just about every sweetener and sweetener combination available. In order to get things sweet enough pure Stevia is hard to measure and if you use too much can be bitter. Erythritol has an aftertaste that for a lot of people feel is not pleasant. I've even tried Stevia and erythritol combinations. Allulose tastes pretty good, but when you use enough of it to get the desired sweetness (it is only 70% the sweetness of sugar) it can be very hard on the digestive system. The only one I haven't tried is monk fruit. I have always liked Splenda. Its main sweetening ingredient is sucralose. Sucralose by itself for me has everything you would want in a sweetener. It has a very low glycemic index and can be measured exactly like sugar to get the desired sweetness. It truly does have 0 calories and 0 carbohydrates. The problem with Splenda and any other generic powdered sucralose is that the sucralose must be cut with something in order to create the powdered form similar to sugar. The ingredients in Splenda are dextrose, maltodextrin, and sucralose. It is those fillers that cause the problem. They create a high glycemic index and contribute to the small amount of carbohydrates in Splenda. Since the FDA permits the labeling as zero carbohydrates if the serving size is less than 1 g, the Splenda label is permitted to advertise zero carbohydrates. This is for one packet of Splenda. If you use a half cup of Splenda in your baking you will get a few carbohydrates for the entire recipe as well as the high glycemic index. Sucralose, purchased as a liquid has all of the advantages of Splenda without the carbohydrates and the high glycemic index. SUCRADROPS provides a convenient and affordable method of getting sucralose. Each drop is the equivalent of one half packet of Splenda. I was skeptical of that until I tried it. It does seem to be on target. In one bottle there over 1300 equivalent packets of Splenda. This makes it very affordable even when Splenda is purchased in a 1000 packet box in a wholesale club. And the little bottle that they give you is perfect for taking out to restaurants. Be very careful when purchasing SUCRADROPS on Amazon. There is one vendor that is trying to sell the exact same bottle combination for twice the price.

Amazing value. One bottle lasts years.
I have been buying this product for several years at this point. I wish they hadn't replaced the glass bottle they used to package it in with a plastic bottle. Other than that, I will always keep purchasing this. My last bottle I bought on September 2023 and has lasted me until now, the beginning of 2026. I use it mainly for sweetening my coffee in the morning as well as low calorie lemonade. Sometimes I will add it to smoothies to boost the sweetness a bit. Great flavor and a little goes A LONG way. I only need 4-5 drops in my morning latte to make it quite sweet.

An Excellent Deal
This is an excellent product for those of us who must restrict our sugar intake. In my opinion, it is far more convenient than those little yellow paper packets. Flavor is indeed just like sugar, with the obvious advantage of instant dispersion into even ice-cold beverages, since there is nothing to dissolve. Since there are no yellow envelopes, there are no scraps of yellow paper all over the table and the floor. One drop = one teaspoon of sugar = one yellow envelope of sucralose powder. As the instructions state, during use, a small amount of the product will crystallize on the neck of the blue glass dropper bottle. I just ignore it, but if it bothers you, it is easily wiped away with a paper towel moistened with a bit of warm water. I can detect a very slight bitter background taste in the concentrated liquid, undoubtedly due to the presence of sodium benzoate as a preservative to prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi in the solution. Until such time as a totally tasteless, but equally safe and effective substitute for sodium benzoate is discovered, its use here is unavoidable. (The solution also contains a small amount of succinic acid, a naturally occurring organic acid with many important functions in the body, presumably to lower the pH of the solution to the range in which sodium benzoate is most effective, but its concentration is too low for me to detect its characteristic tart taste.) The use of blue glass dropper bottles instead of the more common plastic squeeze dropper bottles is a nice touch. The blue glass protects the solution from light, thus insuring that it will retain its full potency through its best-used-by date. The little refillable travel bottle which the manufacturer includes with the twin-pack I purchased is an extra bonus. It even arrived full of extra SucraDrops. All in all, an excellent deal which I will certainly re-order.
