Worth it! These are great for beginners who want to get into resistance training. The progression of the lighter/heavier bands are perfect. They seem durable and are great to use at home. I find them thick enough, and I don't fear any of the bands breaking.

These are essential bands to get for rehab, stabilizer, or just exploration of different resistance profiles compared to dumbbells and barbells. I used mine to rehab a shoulder injury and it worked wonders. Every home gym should have these.

I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed in these bands, and I understand that putting a weight for the resistance depends entirely on how far you stretch it. So I didn’t exactly expect to get 60-100 lbs from the purple band. I bought these to aid in learning to muscle up. So looped around a pull up bar and stretched under my feet the purple band pulls just about 30 lbs. That might be 35 when accounting for my feet giving extra stretch when in use. When I paired the purple and black band together it pulled about 50 lbs - again, maybe 55 at most. I didn’t bother measuring the lighter bands, but you can extrapolate they’ll be similarly much lower than stated resistance. Still, they help, and they’ll be useful for other exercises in which free weights won’t.

Can't get to the gym? Didn't bring your free weights with you on the plane? These work well as a substitute, and youi can use them near anywhere. I've used them at work, in my hotel room, in my living room. Pop in my airpods, turn up on the TV, and go to town. I have six exercises I use with these, using all of the bands in succession. I have a torn rotator cuff, so I need to keep my shoulders strong. These let me do that with a better freedom of motion than machines, and without worrying about hurting myself using free weights. I like the smooth loading imparte3d by the elastic, and that it all packs into a bag smaller than a bag of microwave popcorn. They take up no space in my suitcase. I use them at least four times a week if I'm not going to the gym.
