Can't beat a Maxi Cosi carseat for a small/preemie newborn! This is our second one as we loved our first but have a bit age gap. Our first child was 5lb and our second a tiny 3lb and both have fit nicely and safely when leaving the hospital. The seats fit on to so many different pushchairs and travel systems which is handy. Great value for money and has a lovely comfortable design with the added bonus of not being too heavy for the parents. We have a base for ours but love that you can use the seat belt to secure if using a different vehicle

I bought this as the car seat that came with my travel system, my baby wasn't comfortable in it. Im so glad looked at the reviews on here and purchased it. She now seems comfy and relaxed when she is in it. Makes car journeys less stressful for both of us. I love the fact that it's so light, I can see why this car seat is a classic as it ticks all the boxes with no hefty price tag. Most importantly shes safe and secure in it

Perfect. Use it everyday. Just wish the instructions stated more information on the newborn inserts, when to remove which part etc. Compatible with mamas and papas buggy too.

This is a good carseat. But I feel that for small babies it is not padded enough. It seems to be the most lightweight on a market. Using it for my second baby now.

This is an exceptionally light seat - the first thing I noticed about it! When you have a baby to cart around this is important and a real plus point for the seat compared to my previous car seat, which was extremely heavy to lug around. It seems pretty safe - obviously haven’t tested it in a crash! - and fits firmly in place with the ISO fix. However it is also good with just a seatbelt which I have used when we have travelled in taxis and Ubers. My baby really likes it - by that I mean they are sleeping beautifully in it. They seem very comfortable and snug. It’s also very easy to transfer onto our buggy with the clips you can buy. Overall this is a great product - very convenient and safe!

Decided to buy this after researching a lot in to car seat safety. This brand kept coming up and I decided to go for the cabriofix for several reasons. It is very sturdy but also comfy for baby and lightweight. I know my boy will probably outgrow it in a few months as a bigger baby but as a newborn it's very supportive. I use rear facing with seatbelt fixing not isofix and feels well protected and stable in the car. Overall I really like the quality and have had no issues so far and would buy from this brand again in the future.

Great car seat at a great price. Maxicosi is a reputable company. All my children have used the same car seat brand/design. The baby seems very comfortable in her seat. Easy to take the cover off to clean. Easy to use with a base (bought separately). Not used with the seatbelt option.

Baby is very comfortable in this seat. It is easy to install with a seatbelt and it’s quite light and easy to carry about. The only things I would change are the canopy seems to come loose a fair bit and you have to keep clipping it back on. The other thing is I wish the was a one handed way of unclipping the seat from the pram, there are two buttons either side and it can be a little awkward. Overall definitely worth the money.

Wir haben den Maxi Cosi Cabrio fix getestet. Wie erwartet hebt sich Maxi Cosi auch mit diesem Kindersitz durch Qualität ab. Das Eigengewicht der Babyschale ist absolut leicht, sodass es sehr von Vorteil ist wenn man z.B. 3. Stock eines Hauses wohnt. Die Installation im Auto ist kinderleicht und kann gegebenenfalls auch bei you tube angeschaut werden,hierfür stehen viele Videos zur Verfügung. Die Einlage lässt sich einfach rausnehmen, der Stoff ist sehr angenehm. Hinzu kommt das die Polsterung keine Wünsche übrig lässt. Das Kopfteil kann bei Bedarf verstellt werden. Bequem und sehr hochwertige Verarbeitung. Zur Anbringung im Auto kann zzgl eine ISOFIX Station erworben werden. Das Gurtsystem ist stabil und bringt eine Sicherheit mit sich. Das Design spricht für sich und die kleinen Details können sich sehen lassen. Im großen und ganzen sind wir absolut zufrieden mit unserer Entscheidung und möchten dies gerne mitteilen.
