Own bosch drill w/ 18v liion batteries - why is this 'bare tool' so much and why are there not more accessories - seems a gip to me?

Although this unit is certainly slightly higher priced than most competitors models, it is well worth it. I can't speak for why Bosch runs the msrp as they do, but I do own several oscillating tools and this is by far the best imo. Starlock blade system is great, variable speed system was designed very well, and it is very comfortable to use. Fast, easy, clean cuts. Starlock blades come in many varieties, and are sold readily through Amazon, Home Depot, and many lumber yards. If you're already lined up with Bosch 18v batteries, I'd suggest investing in one of these.

Asian made and twice the price of Dewalt, really?

I have the DEWALT it’s a piece of garbage in comparison. It’s so loud after a month or two of use you need ear plugs. Not made near as well as this one is. So yes it really is worth twice as much as the first two 18v oscillating tools put out by Dewalt
