does anyone know why it has 2 sets of wire inlets on each speaker? Normally it's one set black and red....

The 2 sets of speaker 5 way binding posts are for bi-wires or bi amps if you remove the bridges so you can by-pass the speaker cross-over. It's a waste of time and money since you will need an external cross-over. I wouldn't bother with it at this price point. They are as good as you can get for the price.

Does anyone know if i can get new lids for these speakers? one of the lids broke, and i am very ocd about keeping my speakers slick

I blew a tweeter, called Polk, and provided my purchase receipt and answered a few questions and a replacement was in my mailbox free of charge in less than 10 days. Give them a call... You've got nothing to lose.

how many ohms and watts are they

These are 8 ohms, and they can handle 25 to 150 watts. I love these speakers. A good bargain at $150. They sound smooth and mellow right out of the box. I would buy them again.
