OTS Guardian Full Face Mask

Great Product! Having a full face mask that just works perfectly has changed diving. A real treat to dive this mask. My only complaint is if you are working hard, and surface, you will probably still take air from the tank cause the surface air valve is a fit small. When you are just relaxed on the surface it works fine, but after a long surface swim in current, you just can't get enough air thru the valve. With about 90% of boat diving, this mask is truly amazing!

This is my first full face mask. I decided on the OTS Guardian after speaking to a dive instructor at my local dive shop. He told me that he has tried every ffm on the market and his preference is the OTS Guardian. I've known this instructor for years and trust his opinion. Then, I sent John Hott of OTS an email (his contact information is on OTS' website). The next day John called me and we spoke for 40 minutes about the OTS Guardian and how it compares to other full face masks. Obviously, John recommended the Guardian but he made a number of valid points that I had not completely considered. I found John's assessment, while obviously biased, to be fair and reasonable. I did a little more research and found that the OTS Guardian is used by many professional, public safety, and military divers. Finally, I attended a clinic sponsored by OTS where I was able to dive the Guardian. It was a great experience; breathing was easy and comfortable; the mask was a perfect fit, and the visibility was great. Right then and there I decided to buy the Guardian. Finally, anecdotal as it may be, another diver at the clinic had recently purchased a different ffm and after using the Guardian he told me he wished he had purchased the Guardian instead of the other mask.

Just received 2 of these mask, one for me and one for my son. Tested them out in a pool and they are AWESOME!!! Absolutely no fog on mask during dive, so throw your defogger away! So much easier to breath through! Best of all no LEAKS!! The mask fit both of us great even though I thought my fat head might be a problem. The only downside is the price!

The product what it was used

The material for the lens is cheap and scratches easy. I've had my regular face mask for 25 years and not a scratch. This mask was used on only 8 dives and is all scratched up. I take care of my stuff and still got scratches
