Otis and the Tornado

We had a tornado and my son was terrified. This was the only story book i could find about tornadoes, and it actually helped him be less afraid. A little tractor helps animals take cover when the sky goes green and the tornado hits and they're all ok in the end. Great story.

Nous avons acheté ce livre en anglais après avoir lu Ti' train en français. En plus du coté artistique et magnifique des dessins l'histoire est touchante, intéressante et écrite de façon intelligente et littéraire. Mon fils de 4 ans et demie l'adore. Il est très branché tracteur et camion et il est difficile de trouver des livres avec une histoire recherché ainsi que du vocabulaires.

My 5 year old son loves this book and usually my 7 year old daughter will come for a sit too if she sees any of the Otis books come out for a night time read!

Our grandson (two and a half years old) enjoys this book very much. The story is meaningful and teaches great lessons on friendship, loyalty, courage, persistence and leadership. Otis is a friendly, resourceful tractor who helps save his farm animal friends and even an intimidating, unfriendly bull from a destructive tornado. It has lots of action, wonderful illustrations and is well written enough to keep a child of this age very engaged. Grandson says, "Again!" every time I read it to him. For these reasons, I would definitely recommend it.

0 stars. I ordered a new book for $26 and received a clearly USED book. This is ridiculous. There are stains and the pages are crinkled.
