Sporadic operation.

I needed to return the product because it would not function properly with my Hot Springs Spa. Not the dealers fault and it looked like a quality product. Perhaps the product information should specify applications.

I installed one of these ozonators and it seems to work well. The old Jacuzzi tub’s control board did not have a timer so rather than install a separate timer device I added a TP-Link kasa outdoor smart plug on the Ozonator circuit. Now the schedule for the ozone generator can be set using the smart plug's Kasa app.

Went to install today. Pulled old ozonator out and installed this one in its place. Turned hot tub on.....no power. Opened the power compartment while hot tub was running and pressed on the molex plug for this model ozonator and it sparked as it made connection. Turned hot tub off and took the old one out of the trash. Spliced the old cord onto the new (this brand) ozonator. Last unit had 14 gauge wiring with larger pins. It also fit the female socket better. This new unit is 16 gauge wiring which wouldn't matter if the pins were standard - they are smaller than last unit both in length and overall width. Plastic molex male socket on this new unit was also REALLY sloppy and loose fitting. I will not be buying this brand again. It IS working now and hopefully lasts me at least a year. But know that you will have issues upon installation and it may not be a remove and replace type of scenario.

Started to produce a large amount of ozone instantly. Can test the quality by holding a glass upside down in the spa and letting the gas replace the water. The ozone smells like ozone. It helped sanitize immediately.

Using this for my hot tub , Works pretty good For this money .
