Coleman Soft Cooler Bag | 9 Can Cooler

Bag very small, not the right dimensions given in the description. Was looking to replace one we've had for a long time but my hubby couldn't fit his lunchbox in this one, so had to return.

My kids use these for school. Finally can pack a decent lunch and fit it all in, and thanks to the hard inner container, they and I are worry free about any "internal devastations" that seem to happen in the hustle and bustle of the school year! Keeps the freezer pack temperature, decently; and finally a year of not having to fight stinky and moldy/mildewy lunchbags :) Definitely a lifesaver and would recommend any of the Coleman Can Cooler hard inner lining bags to anyone!

What a pleasant surprise when unpacking this Coleman Soft Cooler bag, the inside "compartment" was plastic. An added bonus as, if something is spilled the inner part can be easily cleaned. It holds 6 stubbies (in coolers) comfortably. Cans are a good fit too, with room to spare on top - maybe an icepack or a couple of sandwiches! Another bonus is the out side pockets which could hold loose change, car keys or the usual mobile phone. Good quality stitching and material - should last years, with care. The adjustable shoulder strap is a good addition and makes this cooler hands free, if necessary. Great purchase and a good price. Definitely recommend. In fact, buy two!

I bought this to replace an old Coleman cooler bag which served me well through 6-7 years of use. The zipper on the old one finally failed so I purchased this “9 can” cooler bag to tote my lunch to work every day. I chose the blue, which is actually darker than picture shows. More of a royal blue than the baby blue / powder blue in the pic. No complaints here, this is a sharp looking bag. Plenty of room in the main compartment for an ice pack on the bottom, three 12 oz cans (or 2 half liter bottles of water), a sandwich, a cup of yogurt and an apple. It even fits a little more with the hard liner removed. The outer pocket isn’t huge but will fit a sandwich sized ziplock filled with your snack of choice. The mesh side pockets do not expand much so don’t expect to fit a water bottle in there. However, each will securely hold a few granola bars or a phone/wallet/keys. The elastic straps on the top are handy as well. The zippers are very smooth and seem to be of better quality than my old Coleman cooler bag. The adjustable strap is long enough to hang comfortably over the shoulder. Not quite long enough to sling across my back like a messenger bag but I’m a pretty big guy so that might work for you. Overall this is perfect for lunches or keeping drinks cold on road trips. I found the Igloo medium size ice packs fit perfectly in the bottom with the hard plastic liner installed. If you use actual ice, definitely use the plastic liner and keep upright to prevent leaks. The zipper will leak a bit if the bag tips over on its side.
