I tried on my mac mini they upgraded and I lost functionality of interface. But it is compact durable.

not enough amplification for a fender strat into audacity program. have to insert preAmp.

Constant hissing noise. Had to edit out in post. Works in a pinch, but by no means high quality.

I greatly wanted to be able to give this audio interface a better review, but it introduces all kinds of line noise. On top of that, the 1/4" outputs on the back both introduce a horrendous screech, as if its completely overdriven and feeding back. I should have listened to the reviews, but I was being optimistic. Lesson learned. I will absolutely returning the Guitarface 2, and will use my refund to go towards a better audio interface. I am supremely disappointed with this product.

I use this audio interface for a virtual amp and it works great. It was one of the cheapest one I could find so I was alittle nervous but it has a great build quality. I'm going to buy another one for my lil bro.

As long as you don't download the drivers or software, it works perfectly if you just plug it in. Works great on OSX for logic and amp simulators. Cheapest option on amazon for an interface with 2 1/4 inch outputs, and not RCA like some other cheaper audio interfaces like the UX2 Behringer. Definitely worth the buy. Sounds just as good as the presonus Audiobox I had before.

Product was damaged, no signal for "input 1", shook the product and something rattles on the inside, presumably something having to do with no signal for the input. No outside damage, all internal.

Many reviews complain about a ringing sound. This is caused by trying to record a mono signal in stereo. That’s all. If you are recording a mono instrument (voice, guitar) just make sure that the software is recording in mono and it will sound amazing. Otherwise, plug a mono source into each side (both inputs) to record in stereo. Depending on the quality of your mics and where you put them, you could get some great stereo separation. Very clean and very clear. Great product!

Sieht cool und stabil aus, doch was nützt das, wenn Funktionalität im Eimer ist? Kaufte wirklich mit riesiger Begeisterung, endlich etwas besser Musik aufnhemen. Nichts ist. Trotz 5 Stunden rumfummelei blieb ein nerviger Rausch- und Fiepton. Dieser war auch ohne eingesteckten Mikro zu hören. Witziger Weise, wenn ich das Teil berührte verstärkte sich der Ton, wieso? Das Ding ist falsch geerdet, bzw. vergewaltigt den Ton durch eigenes Magnetfeld und egal was für Software- oder Hardwareakrobatik man veranstaltet, hilft nichts, nicht mal erden mit Kupferkabel am Heizkörper, das verstärkte nur das Summen. Dazu kommt noch, dass zumindest eins von beiden kostenlosen Software ist wirklich sehr Professionell und sonst sehr teuer, man bekommt aber nur eine 7-Tägige Testversion ist (Die Aufnahmesoftware, Ampprogramm habe ich nicht ausprobiert). Wieder ein Fall von Superidee und schlechter Umsetzung. Übrigens ist das Web voll von Foreneinträgen in dem das Problem besprochen wird, also kann das kein Einzelfall sein. Empfehle USB-Mischpulte, kosten nicht viel mehr, unter 100€ rauschen natürlich, kann aber durch regler das zumindest wesentlich reduzieren.

It does everything they say it will . No problems at all. I use it to record my electric guitar and mic into reaper. I use both a dynamic mic, and also a condenser mic, the Guitar Face has a 24v phantom power supply for Condenser mics. Just plug in the Guitar Face via the USB cable and away I go

Superb device

Good for the money. With minor tweaks is not noisy. Arrived well, on time, and the packaging was safe. The included software is the same you will download for free if you did not buy the productos, so that's kind of misguiding.

No need to install anything, just connect you guitarface II to your computer and your guitar to guitarface II and it is done. 4 stars because there was no IK multimedia installation CD like it was supposed to be
