Celebrate the original eco warrior! After fifty years his message is more important than ever, so enjoy Dr. Seuss’s trademark rhyme in this anniversary edition of the classic environmental fable.“Mister! He said with a sawdusty sneeze, I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees.”The Lorax is a timeless classic that has been using humour and rhyme to raise awareness of the destruction of the environment for more than fifty years.Join the long-suffering crusader and help save the planet with this very special anniversary edition of Dr. Seuss’s beloved, and still achingly relevant, ode to conservation. The perfect gift for boys and girls passionate about our planet, or just those who love to read. This book is different and its message is extremely relevant in our world. It shows how a simple ambitious boy finds a pristine place and starts a business using the resources there. By apathy, callousness and pure corporate greed he completely destroys the place and the company itself has to leave the place and move on. It leaves with the message that unless someone like you wakes up and does something about it nothing will change. This simple message is put very effectively and with style and technique which very few authors have accomplished in their entire lives. This is one of the gloomy dark stories of Dr Seuss. For tongue twisters my 3.5 year old son loves ``Fox in Socks", for simple stories he likes ``Horton Hatches an egg". He even loves A.B C by Seuss. Several of Dr Suess stories are based on his social and political views. I feel this is probably his best executed literary work. If you are planning to give it as a birthday gift to other kids, you should consider their age and background.

Good book but now there's a guy who says he speaks for ds trees living on my backyard
Very great but one issue is that after I read this book the tree that I cut down a few days ago had something orange and fuzzy in it which said "Don't make the mistake he made" good book but now I think my land is haunted

Speaking for the Trees
The Onceler, took the opportunity where he could, but ruined things for the rest of the barbaloots and all the other creatures, yet the Lorax stood in the gap, on the line and in defense of the trees and the whole ecosystem. Not only is this an original classic, it's one of my favorites. I've also used the Lorax character in comparisons to project management work. It's a must read for all ages. Eventually, even a Onceler can learn a lesson.

Semplice, profondo, con una morale più che mai attuale. Dovrebbe essere per bambini, ma è per chiunque a qualsiasi età

Brilliant environmental message in fantastic Dr Suess style
Brilliant environmental message for kids. I always enjoyed reading this to my son as well as having it read to me when I was a child. I bought this recently as a present for my friends kids. No idea if they enjoyed it but I would highly recommend this classic Dr Suess.
