Review: I had a lot of fun shooting with this lens - I had a lot of fun shooting with this lens, it's has very sharp focus well beyond the center. I am more into taking portraits and even when I place the eyes off center, it still looks very sharp. I also own the Neewer 35mm (~50mm full frame) lens, and in comparison, this lens is lighter, has less barrel distortion, takes closer macro shots (18mm vs 30mm), and the focus ring does not stutter when changing zoom directions. The two lens have different focal length, but I would give this one extra star. I don't like wasting time post fixing barrel distortions, so I was pleasantly surprise how little distortion there is. If you own a zoom kit lens, and still waiting for those Fuji primes to go on sale, this is a no brainer for 1/4 the price. At this price, I don't have to fuss with a lens cap which makes the camera more accessible. Unless you are shooting sports and need autofocus, manual focus is a fun exercise that make you feel closer to your camera and your subject. Also, I am finding while I manually focus, I experimenting with the aperture a lot more than with auto focus lens. Review: A Good Native X-Mount Manual-Focus Lens - For its Price - At this price point, you probably won't be able to find a better native X-Mount ~25mm lens. The packaging is excellent and the lens feels very solid. I'm not exactly sure how functional the lens hood is, and I've rarely used it. Wide open, this lens isn't super sharp - but stopped down it is quite excellent! Vignetting is a bit of an issue, but again this is resolved as you stop down. I don't love the feel of the focus or aperture ring, personally. On my copy, the focus ring felt a bit loose. If you've never used a manual-focus lens before, be ready for a bit of a learning curve. Fortunately, Fuji mirrorless cameras have great manual focus assistance features, even on their entry-level bodies. Take a look at your camera manual for how to turn on "Focus Peaking". Overall, I find it hard to be too upset with this lens for its price. That being said, quality control is definitely lacking vs. the significantly more expensive Fujinon lenses. If you're looking to start with a small manual-focus lens, I'd give this a go. It will look great on any of Fuji's cameras, especially in the silver.

Stop reading and buy this lens!
All I can say is WOW. I am beyond impressed with everything about this little lens. The build quality is amazing, great glass, and looks great on my X-t10. It reminds me of my Voigtlander lenses (just costs $500+ less). A good deal is uncommon in photography, but this is legit. It's an absolute steal. Sharp wide open! I'm not a pixel peeper that checks the corners. I'm sure if you go looking you can find something to pick apart. But overall this takes bright, sharp photos at a very useful focal length. I wish they made a 50mm! I was in no way compensated to write a review. I paid every penny - and I'd do it again. Just want to help my fellow photogs out! :) Edit: less than a week later this lens got tangled in my camera strap and took a tumble off my desk. It fell 3ft onto a hardwood floor and suffered no damage. This little guy is a tank!

Great budget lens!
GREAT lens for the price. Sharp even wide open but distortion present. Very small and light, my fingers tend to move both the aperture and focus at the same time. If you're on a budget, this is the lens to go! I find myself taking this lens around with me more often. It is a 35mm on a crop sensor, just what I was looking for.

Fantastically fun lens!
I'm very impressed with the sharpness and contrast and colors. I didnt experience any of the vingette people talk about. Just love this tiny cool lens! Images here are straight out of camera -no edits. Fujifilm X-E2.

筐体の色・形は良いと思うがリング廻りが少しチープ。但し、値段相応以上のプレミアム感あり!
