I bought this adapter to ensure a stable, high-speed wired connection for my computer, and it performs perfectly. It was truly plug-and-play; as soon as I connected it, I saw a massive jump in download speeds and a much more stable ping for video calls and large file transfers compared to my wireless setup.The build quality is solid, and the foldable cord design makes it very portable for tossing in a laptop bag. It handles Gigabit speeds without breaking a sweat and doesn’t seem to overheat even during heavy use.My only minor gripe isn't with the hardware itself, but with the product listing. It’s a bit of a pity about the title mentioning WiFi; this is strictly a wired Ethernet adapter. Needed this to create my own bitcoin node via ethernet and its works flawlessly with windows/linux/mac would happily recommend to others. Straight forward plug and play and a steal of a price. Had a high stability level 900mb of my 1gb broadband and the cable included which is attached sits nicely inside. The unit looks well built.

It works perfectly well in Windows 11, exactly as advertised. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to PXE boot on a Dell Latitude 5320. I've tried a BIOS update, and settings changes, with no joy. A cheap chineseum USB3 to Gbit adapter works fine. Be aware if PXE boot is necessary.

Having moved to online working with a laptop that doesn't have an ethernet port, I became very aware that my livelihood was in the fickle arms of WiFi. This item - from the recognised TP Link brand and at a very reasonable price indeed - looked to be my trusty saviour.Thankfully, I have only had to use this once due to a WiFi issue, however it worked PERFECTLY. It was a WiFi cut-out with no warning in the middle of a meeting, so I didn't have time to mess about figuring things out... but this was literally plug and play. No installation required, just plug it in to an appropriate port, connect to your router via an ethernet cable and Bob's your uncle, good old-fashioned wired internet.I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone wanting a wired connection (who doesn't have an ethernet port) or anyone for whom constant connection is a necessity for work. It really is a no-brainer at this price.

It's worth the price and works well. I like that it's a USB c connection so it doesn't take up any of the other USB ports. I definitely recommend.

I bought this for my 5 year old Sony Bravia Smart TV running android 10 and it works great! Less latency than Wi-Fi and always on vs needing to connect to Wi-Fi means my TV is snappier and caching is nearly non existent. Stop was easy, I literally plugged it into an available USB port and plugged the Ethernet cable into it. No drivers or apps needed.
