My ducks hate grit so this was ideal for mixing into their food. They had no problem eating it mixed in their food. The egg shells were hard and sturdy. It was a pretty good price too.

Milled very fine. I am using this for button quail and they like the small size. Just have to make sure the opening to the oyster shell flour is small so they don't use it as a dust bath. Works great for button quail.

My chickens won't touch crushed oyster shells. This powered and gritty type works perfectly as I mix it into their layer feed. I don't have an exact measurement that I use. I just sort of spinkle it so it covers the top layer of feed and then use the scoop to mix it in a few times. Their egg shells have become much harder and I haven't had any broken eggs in the nesting boxes since starting to use this. The broken eggs were due to my "plus size" lovely ladies stepping on the eggs.

No problem with the product. Very finely ground. Used it for my red wigglers. Too expensive for my taste. Went back to the waffle House and getting egg shells LOL

Finely milled, and pretty well screened. Doesn't have the big sharp pieces I've found in other brands. Shipped in a bag, but it's a nice tough one that arrived intact.

We have been adding oyster shells for our chicken and since then our chickens stopped eating their own eggs and also the eggs themselves have became harder. The shells were very soft before that. They are defintly more affordable then other brands here but gets the job just as well. We just blend them up alittle because I do thing that it's alittle to chunky chunks for the chickens
