It just works
Like all Kitchenaid stuff, this works exactly how it is supposed to work. I actually made flour with the thing, then made bread from the flour I ground. I feel like a pioneer (except for the electricity, AC and cell phone). Very pleased with this.

Good quality grain mill
Some reviews said they burned out mixer but we have a 7 qt so it only gets a little warm. This grinds slow so it doesn’t heat up the flour. Works well if you need small amounts of flour but slow for large amounts.

Was so excited to get it and ended up very disappointed. Got very hot. It took almost 40 minute to grind 2 cups. My kitchenaide got hot also. It ruined my kitchenaide. Do not buy
