We needed an additional bed for a guest. After considering inflatable mattresses, camping cots, tri-fold mattresses, and roll-away beds, we decided on a tri-fold, and this one in particular. We had started out looking for something super small when not in use, but eventually shifted more to something that would actually be comfortable when in use. Thinking about the value of a good night’s sleep, we also decided that the higher price was justified. We have test-used the mattress a few times now, and I would say that it is as comfortable as you could reasonably expect. It properly fills a twin-sized fitted sheet. At 200 lbs, I can slightly feel the floor through the foam when I first crawl onto it and have all my weight on one knee, but after that only nice supported comfort. It is great to lie on in any position. During my first night’s test, while reading, I forgot that I was on the guest mattress a few times – a good sign! And my sleep was just like I had hoped. It looks well constructed. The covers are thick and durable. The 3 nylon cover zippers work fine. It fully inflated to 6” within 2 hours. We especially like that it has a “soft” and “firm” side, and that the covers are washable. I imagine that the tri-fold nature of the mattress will also make a good grandchildren fort or extra seat, when not being used as a bed. We are very pleased with the purchase, and feel that is was worth the higher cost. We also purchased a Milliard Twin XL case for this. The case is sturdy and holds our Twin mattress just fine. The three handles are also very helpful for moving this around when folded up.

We love this thing! We bought it for camping and as a spare sleeping space for the very rare times we have guests at our house (we do not have a spare bedroom). It’s excellent and well worth the money. My only complaint is that your really need a pretty tight fitted sheet so that the creases don’t move while you sleep. No regrets on purchasing though - now we just need a frame for it. It is still pretty large even when folded up so you will need space to store it.

Needed this temporarily, and they worked great. They have a soft side and a firm side, so you can choose. They fold nicely to create a comfortable place to sit. My only issue was that I had to give them away to a friend before we moved because I couldn't fit them in my car. I was truly sad to part with them. I know that if we need something like this again, I would purchase the same product from the same company. We loved these! They would be great for guests and store nicely in a case, or can just be used as a seat. A bit low to the ground for a seat, but kids would love it. These could also be used in a playroom for kids, and if they fall asleep, they make a nice nap area. I wish I had a phot to add because they truly are great!

Purchased this double sided 6" Millard mattress for my enclosed trailer w drop down twin bed. Mattress arrived rolled up compressed in a sealed bag within a cardboard box. Packaging was adequate. Note: It is HEAVY which in the scheme of things means you're getting a strong durable mattress. Anything lightweight means it will compress easily when sitting/lying and will wear out quicker. I'm a 6' 200lb male and the weight of this surprised me - I had to readjust just lift it, so beware if you're a smaller person - have help ready when it arrives. I opened the bag and let the mattress rise for about 48 hours which was plenty here in AZ. While it was rising, I worked the covers a bit to ensure the foam would rise evenly and form smoothly across the cover which helped. The commenters who claimed their covers were wrinkled likely just let it open up as if everything would adjust magically on its own - don't do that, use your head - the mattress was compressed for shipping, it will need a little TLC in the form of pushing a little here or there while opening up as you see it may be needed, if you want a perfectly smooth mattress cover. As to the cover and foam quality, I've been using for several weeks now full time and it is solid, durable and comfortable and as stated I'm 200lbs, more than enough cushion for me. It does not bottom out at all and provides full support. I would recommend this mattress to anyone around my size or smaller. For bigger dudes or gals look for beefier user reviews.

I got this as my “mattress topper” for college. It’s foldable so going back home in the spring shouldn’t be a problem. It’s memory foam, meaning you’ll sink slowly and leave an imprint on your bed from being stationary. The foam rises back up like normal and when you go back on it after a while it’s as if you weren’t even sleeping there anymore (feeling brand new). The green mattress in the image is the mattress supplied by my college in comparison to this one. Since the green one was already thick and putting this 6 inch mattress on top made my bed higher. And you’re in college or are going to college and will have the beds debunked or something like this, I put it down to the third level since it was too high for me (I’m 5’2). It low key still is but buy a stepping stool so you can still have space for storage under the bed. The bed is comfortable. I’m yet to have an issue with it. People who complain about it being so stiff like a rock or as if you’re sleeping on the floor in the reviews… don’t listen to them. Yes the mattress is firm but it definitely doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping on the floor. It becomes less stiff time goes on (give it 4 days max from consistent use) but still stiff enough for the quality to remain. If you’re looking for something that’ll bounce if you jump on it this isn’t your mattress, it contains no springs. I like it this way, it fits perfectly on my college bed (it’s a bigger by like 2 inches but isn’t a problem, better than having a smaller topper) and my sleeps are high quality. It didn’t smell coming out of the package. And expanded fairly quickly since it was air sealed in plastic. It comes with a satin mask!!! So definitely a plus. The band is adjustable. Other than that, definitely worth buying if you’re unsure about other mattresses toppers that are simply foam. A stem major has to have good sleep and this mattress is definitely doing it for me, I be waking up with sleeping marks from how comfy I sleep🤘🏼

Great quality! It's so comfortable! We will use this for a 10 month old infant at hotel stays as well. It has two carry handles and folds up easy. Its a little heavy, but it's because of the great quality.

This mattress is amazing. I think it’s the best trifold (value for money) on the market right now. Much better than any air mattress, hands down. I don’t think a trifold will ever be as good as a stand alone mattress and is not meant for daily use, but this is as good as it gets for a trifold in our second spare bedroom/office. I’m thrilled with the quality/cost of the mattress. For me, it’s not meant to be used daily (not sure how it would hold up) and is meant more for frequent guests or to use when we stay at someone else’s house. We hope to take it camping, but would need a larger tent for it to fit. I went into a furniture store and the price on their trifold was $90 more expensive than this one, only 2” thinner, and did not have a durable protector. This mattress protector is just a little tight to fit the mattress, but it does fit. I believe It’s three separate pieces, but the mattress protector is connected for easier handling. Pay attention to the dimensions as the full size would be a little short for someone >6’, but very manageable. Very comfortable and perfect as a spare for our office space conversion when we host guests. Not sure how it would feel for a 200lb plus person, but my husband is 150 lbs and was very comfortable/supported.

Convenient when you have unexpected guests but no guest room and limited space. Exceedingly more comfortable than a blowup mattress

Bought for our converted ice shack bunks, extremely comfortable and handy that they fold up and have removable, washable covers. Very awesome.

I bought this so that i could sleep in the basement on particularly hot summer nights, as it's cooler down there. I also wanted something that could function as a sleeping area for guests, and that would be easy to put away when I'm not using it. I like the way this folds into thirds, i drape a throw over it and use it as seating area in the basement when it's not being used as a mattress. I was worried it would be a bit uncomfortable but it's actually been fine. I use the "soft" side and I've slept well each time I've used it. They really mean it when they say it has to take at least 48 hours to expand though. I slept on it after 24 hours (the instructions say it's fine to do this) and it was SUPER uncomfortable. But after that it was fine, once it had had an extra day or two!

I got this for my parents! They loved it :) it was very comfortable and I was able to fold it easily in the morning so it won't take up space! I highly recommend it!

This mattress is well made, easy to fold and store. We used it on top of a futon frame for an additional sleeping space for visitors during the summer and it was comfortable.
