Plus Size Bariatric Abdominal Binder Post Surgery - Belly Binder - 12"

This was suggested to buy after my hysterectomy. It works perfect for the support. I was in so much pain before I finally bought this. After purchasing and wrapping my belly the pain was less, and I felt more supported. Its washable, fits great and stretches just the amount you need to wrap around the belly. This is not a waist trainer. I ordered the 4-panel 2XL

After a gallbladder removal my surgeon wrapped a "binder" around me during my recovery. Believing I might need a spare I purchased this. After a few days I leaked out of my drain tube spoiling the "binder". Put on the new one and washed the original. I used the website's measurement guide to determine the size I needed. Worked great for me. If you're measurement is near the max range, go next size larger. I measured in the middle of the XL range and I found that I was almost too large. It will stretch so I didn't want a really tight fit so keep that in mind when you order.

Just a horrible experience. Bought this as a backup after open abdominal surgery, so I really needed it. It came with no directions, just a detached sticker about what to remove to make it stick. Fair enough, that happens and I did figure it out. BUT OMG. The velcro is SO adhesive that I thought I was going to have to cut it off! Luckily my son was there and between the two of us, we FINALLY got it unhooked. I was in so much pain by then. I will never use this or pass it on for anyone else. It is taller than other binders (which is why I got it) but sadly the velcro ruined the whole thing.

I have been using this for a month. It is a light to medium level of support. There are no stays to help it keep it's shape and the elastic is somewhat flexible, so it is definitely not hospital grade, not heavy support. It is working well for me. It is comfortable enough that I can wear it all day. It is long top to bottom, which I need. I have had surgeries both above and below the waist and this supports both areas. The scratchy side Velcro is heavy duty and the rest of the band is usable as the soft Velcro. I can adjust the fit easily by pulling it tighter or just put the scratchy close to the end. The sizing they listed for this was accurate for me. Measure top to bottom and around waist and hips to determine the size you need. Overall, this band is adequate for my needs. I wanted something I could wear all day every day without it cutting into my waist or folding over on itself. So far, this is meeting that need.

I would definitely recommend going at least one size bigger, and it’s extremely difficult to get off after putting it on.

I put this on and the gentle abdominal support alleviates pain both in my back and abdomen. I'm very glad I got this. I would recommend wearing it over a comfortable undershirt, as the top will rub against the skin when you move around. The velcro connection seems very firm, I anticipate that this will last me a good amount of time before replacing. I used the provided chart for sizing, measuring around the widest part of my belly, and it was a good fit.

If you need velcro to hold this is for you but you also have to have strong hands to get it loose I don't recommend it because its to difficult to get off
