Learn to take in the details and find the one you need!
Stated as being appropriate for children in grades 2-4, our daughter who is in second grade has been able to do this without a lot of difficulty. Many of the puzzles require no reading skills as on one page you are shown a box containing anywhere from one to nine figures/letters/numbers and then on the following page when you turn over you have to find that pattern/figure from a set of four different ones. Later in the book when you are introduced to shapes and grids, the ability to read or a parent/caregiver reading to you is required. The puzzles increase in difficulty and definitely help teach a child to differentiate and take note of what they are looking at. With 187 pages this is great value. Answers are provided at the end for those who need them. Highly recommended and a book we will use with our younger ones.
