Delicious towers over regular chickpeas
These Black Chickpeas are very delicious. I wanted a replacement for regular chickpeas which I am tired of. These black chickpeas elevated the two dishes I made. I used my crockpot to cook a bunch. I enjoyed the crisp outer “shell” with the soft delicious creamy inside. It’s nutty and flavorful. Will use these going forward.

Am I doing something wrong?
Soaked these for over 12 hrs, boiled them, and they are still hard. Is this just how these are or am I doing something wrong? I've cooked other beans before and never had this issue. They taste alright but aren't good enough for me to order again.
