The perfect pen needle container.
I have been using medication pens for about 10 years. I used to use the B-D 1.4-quart sharps container designed for pen needles. Due to its size, the B-D container would take me a couple of years to fill up. When I went on Amazon, about the middle of April, to buy a new one, the search sent me to a "newer" designed container that was supposed to be for "pen needles". It wasn't. I went through Amazon's entire list of ALL sharps containers, and nothing even came close to the container that I had been using. I searched all over online to find the container that I had been using - no luck. All the sites said that MY container was "out-of-stock" or "discontinued". During my search, I found out that B-D was bought out by a company called Embecta. I went on Embecta's website - no container. I can only surmise that Embecta discontinued it. Out of desperation I went back on Amazon on May 3, 2026 and found this Finepro container, which wasn't there on my previous search. THIS CONTAINER IS AWESOME!! It is designed specifically for pen needles. (Although it could be used for lancets and other items that would fit through the hole.) The design is pretty fool proof. It's simple to use and provides secure storage and has a permanent lock for when it's time to dispose of it. It is actually easier and more secure to put the pen needles into than the 1.4-quart B-D container I had been using. Because of its closing lid and smaller size, it will be great for traveling. (Try getting that 1.4-quart container, half full of needles, through TSA - YEAH, RIGHT!!! Another great thing about this container: A three-pack is about the same price as my old 1.4-quart container. The only "downside", if you can even call it that, is the total capacity of three of these is smaller than the 1.4-quart container, but I will gladly put up with that when considering all the pluses.

Cuter, Compact, Sturdy, and Perfect for Pen Needle Disposal
This is a fantastic compact sharps containerโexactly what I needed for safe, convenient disposal of my Ozempicยฎ pen needles. The 0.2L size is ideal for travel or keeping on a bathroom counter without taking up much space. Despite the small size, it holds more than you'd expect, and the construction is solid. The plastic is thick and durable, and the lavender lid is a thoughtful touchโless clinical-looking but still clearly labeled and functional. Not the cheapest, but for the cute factor, I find it worth it. An Ozempicยฎ pen needle (without the outer protective cover) fits easily into the hole in the lid. Youโll need to unscrew the needle from your pen first, but once removed, it drops right in and is safely contained. The inner needle shield can also be placed into the opening if you prefer to use that during removalโI personally find it safer to cap the needle before unscrewing and disposing of it. The lid seals tightly, and the locking mechanism works well when you're ready to permanently close the container. If youโre managing diabetes or any other condition that involves pen-type medication, this little container is a practical and safe solution. Highly recommend.

Perfect for Safe Travel with My Type 1 Diabetic Daughter
I purchased these mini sharps containers for a recent trip with my daughter, who has Type 1 diabetes, and they were exactly what we needed. Traveling with diabetes supplies can be stressful, especially when it comes to safely disposing of used needles and lancets, but these gave us peace of mind. The containers are compact and discreetโsmall enough to fit in her diabetes bag or a carry-on without taking up much space. Despite the size, each one held a surprising amount, and the lids close securely so we didnโt have to worry about anything poking through or coming open during the trip. They were TSA-friendly, easy to use, and helped us maintain safety and cleanliness while on the go. It may seem like a small thing, but for families managing Type 1 diabetes, tools like this really make a difference. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a travel-friendly sharps solution. Grateful for something so simple that works so well.

Great for travel.
I love these! A great size to pack when traveling. No more sharps rolling around in the bottom of my bag. Has a locking tab to prevent accidental opening when full.

Nice little container, but needs better locking tab
I like this small sharps container, which is easy to use and just the right size for my purposes. My only complaint is that when the container is full, the locking tab does not work very well. I end up having to tape the lid to secure it for disposal.

Good find
This really is practical and easy to use. I am a new person to injection and I really did not know there was a specific way of disposing of pen needles. The container itself helps you to unscrew the needle from the pen, fits if you push it. It will snap in there. You then push the the push button and the top slides open more and needle falls in. I think it is price reasonable for 3 in a pack. I dont forsee any problems withbit neimg durable. Its a container, lol!! I would recommend these anyone who has pen injection.

A+ Sharps Container
I am new to using insulin and had to start because I have a diabetic cat who is on one of the insulin pens. In the beginning (before sharps container), I actually managed to stab myself while trying to put the cap back on the needle so I could remove it and the needle punctured the plastic cap. Not good. I was scared and needed a SAFE way to dispose of the needle caps. I happened to find this container. This container is AMAZING! No kidding, it really is. After the injection, you just place the pen tip (needly area) in the hole and twist the pen. It unscrews the needle tip from the pen, then you press a button and pull back the needle holder and it falls into the container. No accidental sticks. It looks tiny but it is holding A LOT of pen tips. I love that it is small and I stick it in my cat's 'diabetic bag' where I keep his glucose monitor and needle tips. I do want to say, in the beginning I did struggle a little bit getting the pen tip in the hole and thought it was useless. Just press it in. It will go, just press. It could be because I was nervous and didn't want to break anything, but over time that sharps container is like my best friend when insulin time comes.
