Works well with glue gun and cools in enough time to be able to add wax seal, ribbon and/or embellishment. I have not used this product to mail items out. I used the sealing wax primarily for stationary, gift tags and gift wrapping and the wax seal adheres to all paper products and fabric.

I used these wax sticks to make wax seals for our wedding invitations using a glue gun and wax stamp. The color was as shown in the picture (a gold brassy color). Do keep in mind that this is a jumbo sized glue stick and works best with a low temp glue gun.

I bought a similar kind at Michael’s to make wax seals on my wedding invitations and ran out. When I got these, they were even better! I got more quantity for my money, it’s a much richer shade of bronze, and the quality of the wax is excellent. It’s not stiff and doesn’t crack. These are my go to now for wax instead of the craft store!

I would not consider myself to be a wax stamp connoisseur. Just a meager bride hoping to add a little oomph to her invites. This did the trick very nicely. Did not melt through the paper which was something I had been warned about. Looked great and worked well. Not related to this product, but if you are using a metal stamp, I recommend having a cup of ice off to the side to store it in as this wax makes the stamp HOT and it has a hard time hardening back up.

I’m working on my wedding invitations, and I previously purchased the 10 pack of wax sticks from Hobby Lobby for the same price that this pack of 20 cost me. I have a big seal, so the wax is going fast, and I really didn’t want to spend a ton of money buying more wax sticks. Luckily enough I found these and they are a perfect color match! Friendly reminder these are the BIG wax sticks, for glue guns that take the bigger sticks, not the minis. But it is exactly what I needed! I’m sure I will need more, so when I do I will be reordering these!

This product melts very easily and took to the seal stamp extremely well. The only issue I encountered it HOW well it melted, it melted a little when it was just loaded into the hot glue gun and seeped minimally out the sides of the hot glue gun. Very pretty sparkly gold, would recommend if you are okay with a little mess. I also heated it with a lighter and that proved to be affective and less messy but if too much heat is applied it burns which is to be expected.

These glue sticks made wax seals SO easy! I was able to get them very even and in perfect circles almost every single time. These are definitely a better alternative. They stick perfectly and are very durable! No wax seals were broken of torn off during the mailing process. You also don't have to pay for extra postage!

Beautiful deep gold color. DOES NOT WORK with a mini glue gun. Works perfectly with a large gun, but make sure you unplug it every now and then. If it gets too hot it tends to have little air bubbles. Don't try to melt it on your own...let's just say...no, you can't microwave it. However the oven works 😂
