Buy INHUMANITY #1 & #2 as separate issues and save yourself a ton of money
SPOILER WARNING: This review reveals an outcome of the Marvel crossover INFINITY. Coming out of the blockbuster crossover INFINITY (which I cannot recommend highly enough) was a subplot about Black Bolt, king of the Inhumans, releasing the mutation-inducing Terrigen Mists into Earth's atmosphere. Consequently, any human being who has inherited any Inhuman DNA from their ancestors is liable at any moment to form a chrysalis and emerge an Inhuman (or, as they will be later called, a NuHuman) with powers (which may or may not be fatal). So now people all over the world are spontaneously forming chrysalises and emerging with powers. My *hope* was that INHUMANITY would flesh out this basic plot somewhat and give an overarching story to it that would draw in the traditional Inhumans and link them to the chaos. No such luck. This volume is just a collection of stories -- dull, brain-wrenchingly stupid stories -- about Marvel heroes having to cope with this new phenomenon. Any actual fleshing out will occur in the follow-up series INHUMAN which, yes, I did buy because I'm a sucker for giving Marvel second and third chances. But, seriously, avoid this book. This book went from my reading list into my "to go" list in record time. Instead, go find an online or local comic shop and pick up the single issues INHUMANITY #1 & #2, and that will give you everything you need as the lead-in to INHUMAN. And you'd better believe I'll be doing a review of INHUMAN when it arrives -- either to warn you away from it, or to reassure you that it was far better than this crap volume. Just do not buy this. (Honestly, go buy EARTH X instead. EARTH X was really good. UNIVERSE X and PARADISE X not so much, especially since PARADISE X's ending got cut short for space reasons and pretty much left the whole series unexplained, but EARTH X by itself is worth the money. I'm wondering if I kept my volume. Hope so. Hate to re-buy things.)

inhumanity
it's a great look as we see inhumans popping up all over the world after the widespread terrigen mist bombs and attilan has fallen the place where the inhumans live For millennia, they were hidden in plain sight - forgotten descendants of a secret race transformed by alien science, living ordinary lives, never knowing their godlike potential. They could be your doctor. Your mailman. Maybe even you. But now the kingdom of Attilan has fallen to Earth. Its royal family has been torn apart. And the Terrigen Bomb has revealed the Inhumans in mankind's midst. As individuals across the globe manifest uncanny new abilities, the Avengers, X-Men, Hulk, Spider-Man and more face a world forever altered. And with her husband gone, Queen Medusa must unite her scattered people and lead them into a new Inhuman Age. COLLECTING: Avengers Assemble 21.INH -23. All over the place and not that interesting.
The first 2 issues of the whole book are interesting and actually serve something (as it serves a little backstory to the next inhuman comic, inhuman) But after that its a bunch of random issues and stories around the event, but dont serve up a whole story so in the end it seems kinda pointless.

The standalone Karnak is head and shoulders above this. Maybe the thread gets lost with too many characters? Still a good read though.
