This mount works well for my phone, a Pixel 3XL. That said, you do have to be careful with your placement - the grips for the phone may interfere with your buttons, especially if you are using a case where being near the button might accidentally put pressure on the button itself. This took me a bit of time to figure out, but once I did, I've been aware of it. The adjustments are easy to use, and the mount itself holds the camera steady on both my mini tripod and the large, regular one that I use. I've used it with front and rear facing cameras, and had no troubles at all. If you need a relatively inexpensive mount that gets the job done, this is a great choice.

Got this mount yesterday and it's been put to work holding several different phones for Web demonstration videos at my office. It is very simple to use and it grasps many types and sized of phone securely. So far we've used it to hold HTC, Samsung and iPhones with no issues. The Standard 1/4" x 20 threads allow it to fit any standard tripod made for cameras. We use it with my full size tripod as well as little table-top tripods. I wasn't expecting such a sturdy, versatile mount, especially for the low price.

I recently purchased this item, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with it. The quality meets expectations, and it performs as described. It arrived on time and was well-packaged. While there might be minor areas for improvement, it serves its purpose well and offers good value for the price. I would recommend it to others looking for something similar.

It does wonderful at gripping phones, even large/small ones. Works well enough for its purpose, but if you have it plugged in or your phone is heavy at the ends it tends to tilt itself. There is a dial to spin to tighten it into position but it still tends to have a little lean if you are using it in landscape mode.

Wanted to setup my phone on a tripod for web meetings and many of the tripod mounts are sold out or months delayed. This was one of the cheapest options and... you get what you pay for. This is a relatively cheap plastic mount with a spring-loaded attachment. Some of the other phone mounts seem to have a screw-down-style attachment. The spring seems sturdy enough, but time will tell. I would have preferred an aluminum mount or something better, but surely that would be at 2x or 3x the price. So... would I recommend this? Maybe. Depends on medium to long term reliability.

Purchased this for my Samsung Galaxy S9 with Waterproof generic name brand case. It just barely extends enough to fit my phone, but it fits and fits well. It is sturdy enough to hold my phone without the tripod dipping down or without the phone falling out. It has 2 screw holes so you can mount it vertical or horizontal and even this is overkill because the hold itself can be loosened with the thumbscrew in the back and spin 360 degrees. I was highly against using a phone as a digital camera for years, largely in part because of the mounting capabilities, but this little bracket has changed that very quickly! I highly recommend this if you already own a tripod and are looking for a piece to mount your phone onto.

I was very pleased to find this at Amazon. I had been looking for an attachment that would fit on my old digital camera/camcorder tri pod. This did the trick and now we can take nice selfies.
