A handy low-cost reader for older memory cards
For about £5, this simple, robust 4-in-1 memory card reader has allowed me to dust off and start using my old Canon 7D camera again with its CompactFlash card. The sturdy cable is 55cm, long enough to reach from my PC to my desk. Laptops and desktops don't include older tech like a CF slot these days, so I appreciate this reader's USB-A and USB-C connectors, and its ability to read and write not only CF, SD, and TF/MicroSD, but also my old Sony Memory Stick with a batch of my photos from 20 years ago. You can plug in multiple different types of memory cards at once, and they're all simultaneously recognised under Windows 11. My screenshot also shows a very respectable transfer rate over USB-C of about 60MBps from my CF card. It's a very good-value purchase in this ever-evolving world of tech progress, helping to prevent the complete obsolescence of perfectly good storage media from previous decades.

Te ahorras tener varios adaptadores sueltos y centralizas todo en un puerto USB-C. Relación calidad-precio: Por el precio que tiene, la construcción se siente sólida y los conectores ajustan perfectamente, sin holguras. Funcionamiento estable: Aunque, siendo honestos, no es el lector más rápido del mercado en tasas de transferencia, funciona de forma muy estable. Para pasar fotos, documentos o archivos normales del día a día, va de sobra. Diseño compacto: Es muy ligero y no ocupa nada de espacio, lo que lo hace ideal para llevar de viaje junto a la cámara de fotos o la tablet. En resumen: Una compra inteligente si necesitas un lector multitarjeta que funcione bien y sea compatible con los nuevos puertos USB-C. No es para uso profesional de alta velocidad, pero para el usuario medio es un accesorio de 10.

Works great to upload photos
This memory card reader is good because it helps with my photography that I’m starring a business so I need to have this as part of my job that’s gonna be. it has really good features. It’s easy to use the files transfer very easily. You upload them from your phone or your table laptop. The USB ports work great it’s a compact size and it’s easy to see why it’s a leading leader in memory.
