Worked better than expected for the price and allowed me to capture some great footage under my microscope. I took a gamble on buying this instead of paying for a proper (much more expensive) microscope camera and am glad I did. There is a bit of a knack finding the sweet spot getting the camera lens in the correct place but when it’s there results are great and I was able to combine microscope settings with the zoom feature on the phone camera to get a picture that looked better than viewing directly through the eyepiece.

Using this on a binocular microscope the results were... OK. Extremely hard to get lined up and square on to the eyepiece - it felt like a fraction of a mm either way was all or nothing. Consistency was not happening. Results were very vignetted and hit-or-miss with focusing and framing. Sometime it was good-ish, other times less so. I've attached a few pics both uncropped and cropped so you can draw your own conclusions. Phone used: Zflip 3 Microscope: Swift SW380T

Works basically, but it's not very sturdy; it flexes, so the phone moves as the telescope moves which means it has to be adjusted all the time. A bit disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it.

Did not fit my phone. Even with the holder part as low as possible on the microscope, the camera was nowhere near the eye piece, and even if the height could have matched, the camera lens on the phone would still not have lined up regardless of how much it was twisted as it was more for a camera in the center (tried with Motorola g82, phone camera on upper left of the back).

Very satisfied. It delivers on its promises.

Cheap flimsy plastic and a waste of money

I use this product in my science classes and labs to take pictures of our slides that we prepare. With a little practice, this item helps us capture beautiful pictures of our subjects and enables us to share those pictures easily.

Absolute garbage, flimsy piece of junk that feels like it’s going to snap any second

I had to set it up a little janky to get a good view but was able to do so in the end. The quality is what you’d expect for the price, not stellar but gets the job done. It’s not too stable but it is enough to keep the camera aligned with the ocular. I have an iPhone 11 and it fit just barely with my case. I had to put my phone at an angle on the left ocular to view through the right ocular, I plan to mess around with it some more to see if I can get it to sit dead on. Because my phone has to sit at an angle, the videos are crooked and I can’t get the whole field in view (it can be fully viewed when taking pictures).

Will not hold camera at the angle needed to focus to align with eyepiece . I have an iPhone 15 and it is very difficult to get it to align and stay.
