The chan and lock combo is great. The chain has a nice weight. The lock is very nice also. Updated 07/16.. this lock has been outside for the last few weeks and I noticed today when I unlocked it has rust on several parts see pictures.

Chain seems a little light, and cheaply made, but overall okay. I wouldn't use this to secure anything expensive, used this for a gate, and the coating seems to be holding up to the weather okay. Ease of use is okay, the lock is a little cheap and loose feeling, I bet a hammer smack would open it up. Size is okay and functionality is there for what it is.

Barley had the lock on the chain and it had already rusted in under two weeks. Chain is good for its purpose but lock is getting harder and harder to turn.

Used to lock up my fridge...lol...to keep.my adult son from drinking all the beer in fridge & to.keep meats locked up. He cut off the last two chains & locks....it was as described....he was unable to get it off this time....his bold cutters failed🙂
