I picked this up to maintain leather boots and dress shoes, and it’s been a really practical set to keep at home. The horsehair brushes feel soft but still effective at removing dust and buffing shoes to a cleaner shine without scratching the leather. The smaller applicator brushes make it easier to apply polish evenly, especially around edges and seams. Everything feels lightweight but functional, and the kit is compact enough to store easily or bring while traveling. One thing I appreciated is that the brushes didn’t shed excessively during use, which can sometimes happen with lower-cost shoe care kits. These are great for washing those old tennis shoes, high heels, boots and more! I have washed 100+ pairs of used shoes with a few sets of these brushes and they are so gentle, sturdy, and great at getting into a lot of tight spaces. Paired with the right cleaner there is no stopping you from having fantastic looking results using these brushes.

I use these brushes regularly not only on my shoes but also on other leather goods. The large brush works great on a vehicle with leather interior. My seats get super clean with these brushes and some leather cleaner. The bristles are just right for cleaning items you don't want to damage. Works great on any leather shoes or sneakers or even a leather jacket. I also cleaned some fabric chairs and it worked great as well. The different sizes come in handy as well. Nice set

I purchased this brush kit earlier this year and have overall had a fairly good experience. I bought two sets, one for my black shoes and one for my brown shoes, and they both did their job of getting my shoes back to a clear shine, but I do have complaints as it comes to the longevity of the towel that is included with this set. Although it did a fairly good job on the first run through, I found on its second use that I was noticing bits of cloth fiber that were coming off, making me doubt how many washes and uses the cloth will be able to last. Overall though, this is not a huge issue and I have been finding that the horehair brushes have been holding up well and I appreciate the quality of the wood they are made from. Overall, I would likely recommend this for anyone on a budget looking for a shoe cleaning kit, but I do have to admit that after using this kit several times, I will likely be transitioning over to using polish sponge brushes once my shoe polish runs out.

Great brush kit. Bristle strength can be firm or soft depending on how hard you press and overall really good brush for polishing!

I use these brushes to refurbish used designer handbags. They are soft, durable, and easy to work with.

All products shown arrived and were really nice quality. Stiff bristles and none fell out and sturdy wooden handles.
