Effective for broadleaf weeds without harming turf
I used this Southern Ag 2,4-D Amine to spot-treat broadleaf weeds in my lawn, and it worked exactly as expected. Within a few days, I could see the weeds starting to curl and yellow, and most were fully gone within 1–2 weeks. It’s strong, so make sure to mix according to label directions and spray when temperatures are moderate (not extreme Texas heat). I applied it with a pump sprayer for targeted treatment and had no damage to my established turfgrass when used properly. Great value for the size — a little goes a long way. Definitely a solid option for controlling clover, dandelion, and other common broadleaf weeds.

Great Value and Effective
I recently tried out the 2,4-D Weed Killer, and here’s my review based on my experience: Pros: 1. Effective Weed Control: This weed killer is excellent for tackling a variety of broadleaf weeds. It worked well on dandelions, chickweed, and other stubborn weeds in my yard. 2. Versatile Use: It’s suitable for various areas, including lawns, pastures, rangelands, and even around fences and ditch banks. This versatility makes it a great option for multiple applications. 3. Cost-Effective: The product is concentrated, meaning a little goes a long way. I found it very economical as a small amount can cover a large area. 4. Quick Results: I started seeing results within 48 hours, with significant weed reduction over the following weeks. 5. Easy Mixing Instructions: Despite some initial confusion, the mixing instructions are clear. Once you get the hang of it, it’s straightforward to prepare. Cons: 1. Not Pet-Friendly: You need to be careful when applying it if you have pets. It’s best to keep them away from treated areas until it’s completely dry. 2. Dilution Required: The product needs to be diluted before use, which can be a bit of a hassle if you’re used to ready-to-use products. 3. Not Ideal for Hot Climates: The effectiveness can decrease in very hot climates, so it’s better used in cooler, drier conditions. Overall Experience: The 2,4-D Weed Killer is a powerful and economical solution for controlling broadleaf weeds. It’s versatile and provides quick results, making it a reliable choice for maintaining a healthy lawn. Just be mindful of the mixing process and safety precautions with pets. **Rating: 4.5 out of 5** If you need a dependable weed killer for various applications, this product is definitely worth considering. It’s particularly good for larger areas where a cost-effective solution is needed.

Will kill Horsetail weed - kinda
I bought this herbicide to kill horsetail weed that sprouted all over our property this year. This particular weed is resistant to Roundup and Goal but is supposed to be susceptible to this. Well it is kinda. I followed the label directions but forgot to add a surfactant. The sprayed plants wilted a little but didn’t die. The second time I added some dish soap to the mix and the plant eventually did turn brown and die. But, it happened slowly over a few weeks so don’t expect to see instant results with this particular weed. It did kill clover and spurge fairly quickly. There are other weeds that it targets but these are the three I had.

The best post emergent I’ve ever used
I waited a month to do the review. I did one application and had a pretty good result especially with the clover, crab grass and creeping Charlie. However had some broad leaf weeds that giggled at the products so I retreated. Waited a week to evaluate. I think this product did a phenomenal job. I was shocked in fact at how well it worked. It did annihilate a huge majority of the problematic weeds over taking my lawn and the little grass I had, is fine. I have pure hope for my spring lawn this coming year. Absolutely recommend this product. PSA: please use as directed!

Chickweed Killer...Everything else survives.
Use 1.5 oz per gallon Doesn't hurt the grass Works on Chickweed, but nothing else. Is NOT a one-and-done application So, there are mixed reviews of this product. I live in Central North Carolina and we have an invasion of Chickweed from our neighbor's property. However, there are also clover, dandelions, and what I think are wild violets. I purchased this product as it is said to " Control many broadleaf weeds & woody plants", but not hurt the grass. My first dislike about this product is the lack of instructions. From what I read, it will tell you absolutely everything about this product except for its dilution ratio. I checked other sources and found that it is 1 oz per gallon. Just to be safe, I mixed 1.5 oz per gallon. I sprayed my front lawn to test its effectiveness. Within 48 hours, the Chickweed turned slight yellow, but it did nothing to the rest of the weeds. Four days later, I applied a second dose. The Chickweed is now a bright yellow, almost white, but the rest of the weeds survived. After the third application, the Chickweed is dying, but the Clover, Dandelions, and Wild Violets are growing strong. So, I too have a mixed review of this product. It seems to be effective only on Chickweed, but it does not hurt your grass. Also, you will need at least 3 - 4 applications to kill it off completely.

Works well on yarrow in the lawn which has been really spoiling my lawn. Hoping it stays gone. You must read the how to use info as this is very bad stuff to humans.

If you get it right, it works wonderfully - but trying to work out the dilution ratio was just too difficult. Hence it lost a star. It worked on bindweed seedlings but anything a little larger - and the weeds are still growing.

Two applications since purchase. Good results to date, buttercups, daisies, tiny clover wilting daily. Second application yesterday on the broadleaf weeds missed on first application and already having effect. Recommended by a cricket and bowling green groundsman so probably what the professionals use! Good value - huge amount remaining - enough for my needs for a decade probably.
