Olympia Tools 85-010 Grand Pack-N-Roll Portable Tools Carrier with Telescopic Handle, 80 Lb. Load Capacity, Black 2025 New Version

I purchased this not for tools but for my bowling balls when I get to my locker I have three or four balls to lug to the Lane I'm bowling on. I keep this in my car and I have one ball in the car that does not fit in my locker. So this folds flat and I keep it in the car and on bowling night I unfold it and place my one ball from the car into it. I roll it into the alley to my locker. There I place my other three balls into the bucket along with my shoes , our mascot , my utility bag, my bowling towels and anything else I drag to the lanes. It Maneuvers wonderfully and it is so much easier than dragging around a bowling bag that carries two or three bowling balls. At the end of the night I roll it to my locker, empty everything back into my locker except for that one ball I keep in the car, then I roll it to my car take out the ball and fold it back down flat in 10 seconds. It's so much more convenient than bowling bags. Just throw everything in it and roll away. I absolutely love it and other Bowlers have asked me where did I get that. It works well and a sturdy enough for 4 bowling balls and accessories so I imagine it would be great for tools which is what it was meant for. UPDATE: The first cart worked well in the beginning but was not able to hold up so I used the warranty that was on the box that it came in that I saved and the company replaced it. The bottom fell out, pieces broke. The second one I received did the same, and I only used it for 2 bowling balls which collectively is 28 pounds, a lot less than the ad claims it holds. Same thing happened eventually, the bottom fell out and broke. They will only replace it once. So I'm looking for a replacement but a lot of these plastic crates seem to have the same complaints. I wish they made one in a sturdier material so it lasts. It's good for a while but eventually you'll have to replace it. For the price I guess that's not too bad. The customer service at Olympia was very nice and helpful.

For my work, we have purchased three of these. The first one a few years ago. It arrived complete, but broke over time. We replaced it with another one recently. It arrived with the handle defective; it would not latch into place on one side. We returned it and ordered a new one. That one arrived in even worse shape; the handle comes all the way out, with no latching mechanisms at all. It seems to be a piece of junk. Will not be making the mistake of ordering again from this company. We tried some from Office Depot last year and will go back to their rolling carts. Half the price and have been sturdy and reliable. I'm not able to submit a photo but picture the handle laying across the top of the cart with no buttons...that's what we received in our second order.

I have owned one of these carriers for 3 years. I live in an apartment complex that is several stories high and use it mostly to haul up plastic bags filled with groceries. I also use it to carry laundry to the laundry room. The carrier has held up very well over the years. One of the clips broke off and handle doesn't slip up and down as it used to - it takes some jiggling around to make it retract to compact size. Overall though, I would recommend purchasing one of these. I have also bought a Olympia Tools 85-404 Pack-N-Roll Mesh Rolling Carrier which works well but has not held up as well as the 85-010 model. I have recently purchased a 2nd 85-010 carrier and use both at once when there are extra groceries or other shopping items to haul up. Update 08-02-16: I purchased a 3rd carrier ( a Staples model) to keep in my apartment for moving laundry baskets. I keep two Olympia 85-010 carriers in my vehicle for moving groceries, shopping items, item. The Staples model broke in a matter of 8 months. So, it has since been tossed into the dumpster and replaced by another Olympia 85-010 model carrier. I have 3 now. One of which (the oldest) is cracked at the crate and the clips have broken off but still serviceable. Again, I would recommend this model because it's inexpensive and holds up well. It's not mean to haul up bricks and heavy equipment. But, for groceries and shopping items it the best choice that I'm aware of.

I bought 2 of these after owning a similar one that was not as strong. I use 1 or both to bring in groceries - once a week. I also use to carry things around the house - e.g. cleaning supplies. My groceries often include heavy bottles of vinegar, detergent, canned goods, etc.. I just need to monitor the weight and distribute evenly between the 2 carts. Nice to use to tote groceries up 2-3 steps. Need to be mindful of the sides as they can bend - because the cart is foldable - so don't over stuff. Easy to carry in trunk or on back seat. I would not recommend for daily "heavy duty" use. Today's (11/22/2023) price is the best I've seen - including at other stores that carry similar carts that are not as durable. I would buy again. Based on previous experience with a similar cart, with my type of use, I estimate these will last me about 5-7 years.

Arrived missing one of the side latches and with a broken handle. Same as previous review warnings makes me wonder if mfr is sending true replacements or just recycling returned items. Edit: Replacement unit arrived today, upgraded from 1 star to 2 stars. Handle fully extended, but still very flimsy. I'm not entirely sure the handle will not break or bend under anything close to cargo box's capacity. Cargo box did have all the pieces this time, including both side latches and unfolding deployment is fairly easy and straightforward. The oversized rollerblade wheels are great for slightly uneven surfaces, and the width of the box is enough so that contents are well balanced and stable, even with the flimsy handle. 2nd edit: now 6 weeks later, the handle broke, just like the first one. I only use this once a week and already broken and just 2 weeks out of 30 day return/replacement policy. Absolutely useless flimsy piece of junk - do not waste your time looking at any other reviews and do not waste your money.

Looks good! Arrived in good condition. In collapsed mode, it's a little taller but no wider than a thin brief case--over all 3 inches thick but bulges to 3 1/4 inches at the wheels. Box opens and collapses easily. Handle extends to good height and looks solid. Wheels are on metal axles and roll freely. Construction seems sturdy enough. The bottom is not just a flat piece of plastic like on other models; it has cross-hatched reinforcement underneath. The advertisement appears overstated--no way this thing is going to carry 80 pounds more than once. I'm guessing 40 pounds would be the maximum occasional load with 30 pounds being the ordinary working capacity. It's not going to last long packed full of water jugs or books (paper is heavy). Also, the design is not appropriate to roll on grass, gravel, or sand. (I'm amazed at what some reviewers expect from products!!) However, it looks perfect for bringing in plastic bags of ordinary groceries or similar stuff, rolling over tile floors, blacktop and concrete pavement, and carpet. Going up and down curbs would require care. Looks like it would hold a little more than half of a shopping cart of groceries. Used within common sense limits, this should be real handy and last a long time.

The materials feel somewhat flimsy, and it doesn’t seem as durable as I expected. While the design is convenient and portable, the build quality could definitely be improved. Unfortunately, I’m not very impressed with it.

PERFECT- great product and the wheels work perfect. Not too heavy to lift in and out of the car.

I am a teacher and I use this to carry all my supplies and grading stuff in and out, folds easily and carried a good amount of weight, my go to for everyday!
