We love it!
We recently installed a brown shade sail in our backyard, and it has completely transformed our outdoor space! Living in an area with direct sunlight for most of the day, we were in desperate need of a solution to create a comfortable and enjoyable environment for relaxation and gatherings. From the moment we set it up, we noticed an immediate difference. The shade sail provides ample coverage, allowing us to enjoy our patio without the harsh glare of the sun. It has become our go-to spot for everything from morning coffee to evening barbecues. The brown color blends beautifully with our outdoor decor, adding a touch of elegance while still being functional. The installation was straightforward, and the quality of the material is impressive. It feels durable and well-made, which gives us confidence that it will withstand the elements. We’ve had some windy days, and the shade sail has held up perfectly, showing no signs of wear or tear. One of the best features is how it allows for airflow while still providing shade. We can sit outside comfortably even during the hottest parts of the day, making it a perfect spot for entertaining friends and family. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our brown backyard shade. It has enhanced our outdoor living experience significantly, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to create a shaded oasis in their backyard! PS we move the fire pit out from under it when we have a fire. It is not flame resistant.

Beat the Heat with Style
I recently purchased the Windscreen4less Sun Shade Sail Rectangle, and I am absolutely thrilled with this amazing product! It has transformed my outdoor space into a comfortable oasis, providing much-needed shade and style. First and foremost, the quality of the sun shade sail is exceptional. The heavy-duty, high-density polyethylene fabric is built to withstand harsh weather conditions and UV rays, ensuring its durability for years to come. I have peace of mind knowing that it will protect me and my loved ones from the sun's harmful rays. The installation process was surprisingly straightforward. The package includes all the necessary hardware, and the detailed instructions made it easy to set up. I had it up and ready in no time, and it instantly elevated the look and feel of my patio. The rectangular shape of the sun shade sail offers a generous coverage area, providing ample shade for my outdoor seating and dining areas. It's a perfect addition to my backyard, allowing me to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about excessive heat and sun exposure. The stylish design of the Windscreen4less Sun Shade Sail Rectangle is a standout feature. It adds a touch of elegance to my outdoor space, enhancing its overall aesthetic appeal. I love the clean lines and modern look it brings to my patio. The sail's breathable fabric allows air to pass through, creating a comfortable and refreshing environment beneath it. Unlike traditional umbrellas, this sun shade sail doesn't trap hot air, making it a perfect spot to relax even on the hottest days. Another great benefit of this product is its versatility. I can easily adjust the tension and angle of the sail to suit different times of the day or the changing sun position. It gives me flexibility in creating the perfect shade arrangement for my needs. Cleaning and maintenance of the sun shade sail are hassle-free. I can easily rinse off any dirt or debris with a hose, and it dries quickly, ready for another day of use. In conclusion, the Windscreen4less Sun Shade Sail Rectangle is a game-changer for anyone looking to beat the heat and enjoy the outdoors in style. Its excellent quality, easy installation, and stylish design make it a must-have for any outdoor space. I highly recommend the Windscreen4less Sun Shade Sail Rectangle to anyone seeking an effective and aesthetically pleasing shade solution. It undoubtedly deserves a glowing five-star review. Thank you, Windscreen4less, for creating such a fantastic sun shade sail!

Reduced temps on my deck by 40 degrees F
This shade sail was able to block out enough of the light that it reduced the temperature on my deck by 40 degrees fahrenheit, while still letting enough light through that it didn't feel like you were in a cave. One annoyance that I had was that the rope they give you is just 1 long length of rope that you have to cut down into pieces yourself, which I understand not everyone is going to need equal lengths, but it leads to the ends getting frayed and having to use a lighter burn it together and just not looking as good as a factory end since it discolors a bit.

Also nice for those Indiana summers on deck!!
Ok. I just recently installed this Sun Shade. We have a 10x30 wood deck along the back of our house. Where a good portion approx. 50% get constant sun turning it too hot to stand on the wood. Did not use the supplied rope, I used paracord. It fits our need to be able to shade our deck and it might help with shading our sliding glass door and thus shading our family room. Installation: I decided to forgoe the "amazon recommended" hardware. I do not have posts to attach the sun shade, so I came up with a solution. I took 1inch galvanized conduit (10foot) and bent it where I wanted and screwed the lower portion to the kickplate of the deck. The top portion of conduit I inserted an eye bolt and I attached an eye screw to my wood eave at the stud at the house. Using paracord and spring clips attach the sun shade to the eyes. The conduit is also anchored to the lawn using paracord and ground stakes to prevent swing of conduit (tension is needed for the sun shade) and can be adjusted. It should be simple to take down during Indiana offseasons and simple to mow that Indiana lawn (just unhook from ground stakes & mow). Overall, think home made simple camping tent. All materials including sun shade under $90. Did have access to a conduit bender through work. Durability: This sunshade seems like it should last a few summer seasons. Lightweight fabric/nylon with double stitched d-looped corners looks like they will hold well. Overall, seems well made but jury is still out, I'll try to update in year. Can't give 5 of 5 for unknown time duration of the sun shade, yet. Update (6/22/17) - After 1 year I'd say this is worth the $$. Still in good shape, it has stretched a little bit which can be expected. If high powered winds (tornadic weather) would occur I'd take the shade down, but other types of storms I'd leave it up. The sun shade looks like it will last several more summers. The D-rings are showing a bit of rust, but not bad at all. This year I added paracord attached to opposite corners to create an "X" along the underside of the shade for extra support in hopes to reduce stretching the fabric from higher speed winds. Updated to 5 stars. Update (5/3/18) - Just put up my Sun Shade yesterday and it is still in good shape. The D-rings are still rusted, but holding strong. (Adding a couple of pictures of D-ring and my modification of an X of paracord.)

Should help for my back deck!!!
Up-date 1/4-2017 ! Well had the WindScreen up all Summer into late Fall (Nov 16) we had a late Fall to start here in the South, like in the 80's almost the whole month, set records for the late 75 years!!! so I kept it up longer. I have to say it preformed wonderful, even thru High Winds like gust to almost 70mph, yeah! the pouring rain would sag the trap down but once it stopped and wind dry it would go back into shape. I had also added about 7-8 brass grommets to the side under the eve of the house over the door to help keep it up off the door and not the first one ripped loose from the trap. the other two outside corners where attached to 2 -4"X4" 14 foot dug into the ground 3 feet and it held fine for me. I had also for my own sake ran a rope from the house out to the west 4"X4" and use RV Awning Clamps and the west end of trap to help with the West and Southwest winds in which I'm glad I did when we had the high winds here from more than one storm the last season. The Color of the Trap did not fade that I could tell because I had bought 2 of these traps to being with but only used the one and when folding the used one up to put it away for the winter I compared them together and there still the same color!!! So that's a plus. All in all this Windscreen held up VERY WELL!!! no Stitching came apart anyway on it all season. I installed this before May and up till the end November, what more could you want for this price! hope this help who ever reads this and what I wrote is the truth no bull and I see using it again next year, why not why get the other out if I can use this till it falls apart. That was a well $50. bucks spent by me. Oh I had this installed on the back "South" side of our home that got all day sun from 9am till 5:30pm so lots of hard sun all day. We could set under it during high noon and it didn't affect us as long as there was a breeze if not I had a fan for air. I think it's 90-95 percent UV Rays protection? or some where around that and you'll see if your in the hot beating down Sun this Windscreen is worth every penny you pay for it. Good Evening ! Well received the items very fast and packaged well. I haven installed them as of yet but they look like that are well made, the seems and eyelets look good. I was looking for just this type that it square with-out the straps on the corner for my insulation which these will work as planned. I will up-date after I get them up and with photos so everyone can see. Got to say very good price for the size I ordered and a 5 Year warranty is part of the reason I went with this brand, most only have a 1 year warranty, big different for sure, isn't many companies that do that any longer. As said as soon as up I will up-date.

Works great providing shade for my pool area; easy to hang up; durable
I highly recommend it. I need to cut down on my direct sun exposure, but dont want to give up the pool, so I got this shade cover. It works and looks great. Some folks who bought it complained it stretched, but mine has not, even tho I really crank down on pulling the corners with turnbuckles (6 in long tightening screws). I got the 16 by 20 size to go over my 16 by 32 pool. Seems very solid - I'm not worried about it tearing even when I have it stretched as much as I can. It does let rain thru, so don't worry about getting a big pool of water weighing it down. Looks great, everyone likes it. Provides shade for those of us who need it, and still lets part of the pool have sun light for those who crave that. Only minor issue is even with max pull on each corner, I'm not quite able to align where I can attach it quite right to stretch the center, so it droops a little in the center. No problem, I just ran a couple extra cords under it to keep it elevated and to keep water from pooling in center before it drains thru. Other options is to add grommets to center of sides and ofpull there. Update after 4 years: This has provided pool shade for 4 years. No stretch or change in shape. The most impressive thing is the strength of the corner rings. I put about 150 to 200 lbs pull on each, no problem. Very impressed and will definitely buy again if needed. It is great, well worth the price (which is lower than ones with bad reviews)

Sail is good but ropes will fail
The sail itself is good but the ropes have disintegrated in the sun. Need to reinstall with different wire.

Cheap rope
Quality of the sunshade itself is very good however the rope supplied isn’t very strong. You’re given about a 6 foot piece you need to cut to size for all 4 corners. The rope will unwind itself very easily once it’s been cut

it is plastic not cloth
I like it and it works well but at first i was going to return it because it was like a big plastic tarp as opposed to a canvas cloth feel/look. But I put it up because i was having guests and then once it was up it wasn't as noticeable and apparently that's what it needs to be like to block UV rays - not sure but that's what i read. Anyhow, it is working and very very durable.
