I bought this with limited expectations. I’m age 49 have salt and pepper hair and this said it gradually changes your hair darker. I have done 5 washes as per instructions and my hair has turned noticeably darker but at a gradual rate so it doesn’t look like I have dyed my hair in one The more I use it the more darker my hair is going and it has now turned the white into a dark grey and it is getting darker with each wash. It’s important to know it doesn’t totally darken your hair and remove all grey and white which is what I want it gives a darker more natural look After 5 washes my wife said to me the other night your hair looks a lot darker but it looks natural and she is a hairdresser with nearly 30 years experience and is very impressed with the gradual change. Once you reach your desired look you just alternate it every other wash and don’t be fooled by the size it is going a long way, a small palm size blob is plenty I have thick hair on top and graded short sides it is covering top and sides very evenly

This is very easy to use, and no smell. I am seeing results after 2 washes, it is very discrete and just a slight darkening of the hair generally. My advice is to get some disposable vinyl gloves - ( the instructions say keep away from your nails this dye is obviously attracted to keratin - which is hair and nails ) and use palms of hands to shampoo your hair, which is a very unnatural thing to do, I prefer fingers to get shampoo into sideburns and around ears properly, and gloves let you do this. Rather than letting this dye come into contact with plastic shower tray, I leave my hair wet after a shower and actually use the glazed porcelain sink to wash my hair and rinse the dye out. Just watch out for the shampoo getting on the grout between tiles though... Addition to original review, after 3 washes my hair was dark enough for me - did not want to go ultra dark, just dark enough so that shop assistants etc did not take my grey hair as a sign of lack of intelligence... I washed my hair for the 4th time with this today ( a two day gap ) and concentrated on the front and sides which have always been the most grey..... Works really well and results are very controllable

I tried this shampoo on my dark brown hair, and while it did darken things slightly, the results were mixed. It seems to work best on hairs that are just starting to lose pigment, those lighter brown or slightly orangey strands did return to a darker shade after a few uses. However, fully white hairs didn’t change at all, so for those you’d still need a proper dye. Overall, it’s not fully what I expected...there is some effect, but it’s subtle. Considering the price, I’d probably go for a different option next time.

GOOD PRODUCT

In the past 6 months or so a further reformulation of the product has clearly happened. Tried 3 times from different retailers including amazon and all the same. Colour doesn't adhere to hair, washes out very easily, doesn't really seem to make much difference at all to level of grey and just perhaps make brown hairs a bit darker. Can use for 5 mins a time for a week or two and no real difference. Product appears different to previous, now just a very light beige colour out of the tube. Still stains the shower though. Previously used the light shades formula for around 1 year to the end of 2021 was very satisfied with results. Within a few washes noticeable gradual difference to level of greys, nice brown shade achieved and then could maintain washing it through 1-2 times a week. Not sure why the light shades was discontinued. They then for some unknown reason started tinkering with what was a well liked product. Initially many received a product around start of 2022 that gave orange hair. Product was then reformulated towards something similarish to old soon after this and then has clearly changed again in past 6 months as described above. More people should leave reviews to get JFM's attention, a once great product now a complete waste of time and money! Seem to have made it completely underpowered in attempt to get you to buy more?Bring back the pre 2022 version.

Not a bad product, definitely more subtle than other products which make sit less obvious. As others have said change in product formula is not as good as previously - but I do prefer this as a shampoo option, leaves minimal of any stains.

İyi çalkalamak lazım boya ve şampuan homojen değil.. saç uzunken çok dayanmıyor şişe ama kısa saçta çok uzun gidiyor..

Franchement, très agréablement, surpris par ce produit qui effectivement graduellement progressivement rend les cheveux moins gris. Personnellement, il m’a fallu une bonne semaine pour obtenir le résultat que je voulais. Maintenant je m’en sers en entretien deux fois par semaine. Contrairement aux autres avis qui indique que ça tache les mains et les ongles, je n’ai pas rencontré ce problème en me savonnant Les mains et en passant une petite brosse sur les ongles avec du savon après chaque shampooing. Je le recommande.
