Review: We sometimes get students taking the IB course (my wife and I are private tutors in maths), and most frequently the Mathematical Studies course students. This is the most basic level of maths in the IB but, since every IB student has to study maths, this is the level that attracts the students who did least well in their GCSE. Most of the content can be found in any A-level textbook, but the IB courses (3 levels) each has something quite different and, even when the topic is the same, sets different styles of question. We have all three in the series (Mathematical Studies, Mathematics Standard Level, and Mathematics Higher Level). The books follow a similar pattern and style. They are well written, provide good explanations and have questions (with answers) at the appropiate level. Overall a good series.
