This torch works fine and I guess I got the updated version because the flame adjustment was on the bottom where the fill port is. This keeps you for accidentally adjusting the flame. The manual that came with it showed the flame adjustment on the side. It appears to be well built and hopefully will last a long time. I also liked that they sent with the torch a small plastic tool to bleed the air out of the propane storage tank. A nice touch.

Great torch. Flame goes up very high. Gets the job done.

Recommended to have as a gadget for lighting materials in a very speedy manner. The flame is sharp and bright.

Works great wish there was a fuel gauge though Don't know when it's full. Has a decent weight to it in my opinion indicating quality made easy to use adjustable flame safety lock all around great product

My old version finally broke after years of use on the golf course. This upgraded version works perfectly. I like the easier to control flame dial.

It works, and the flame is pretty big, but the fuel doesn't last very long, it's hard to fill, and if you overfill it, it just spits a flame, also the flame isn't as hot as some of the other torches we have, and the flame size is hard to adjust compared to the official hacksmith mini saber, or even some of the other off brand ones. But for this price it's not too bad. Edit: I compared this torch from the one The Hacksmith sells(we bought it after we were disappointed with how this one preformed), and the official one has a much better flame, and the fuel last MUCH longer.(Also the torch we bought from here was running out of fuel in this video, but tur size if the flame in rhe beginning of this video is the size of it normally, just thought I would explain why the flame shrinks)

I love this new lighter. Very well made and holds plenty fuel for whatever you need to do. It is a very powerful lighter so it does get hot on the end. I recommend this lighter
