These are awesome drink coasters; the soapstone soaks up any condensation from drinks placed on them, and are also works of art! My original set of Frank Lloyd Wright soapstone drink coasters is over twenty years old now, and are still going strong! I've purchased two new sets of four for myself, and am giving four sets of four to my closest friends for Christmas. I cannot recommend these highly enough; they're fantastic!

I have a bamboo coffee table and my child had begun getting clumsy with his beverages. Summertime was in full swing and it dawned on me that it was time to make a purchase that screams “adulthood”. Until now, I was only familiar with the type of coasters from my parent’s generation and older, made of either cork, glass, or wood. I was pleased when I discovered that coasters have evolved since those days and are made to suit all types of styles and decor. I wanted a small slice of culture and have limited space and funds for reproductions of actual artwork, so I felt this would be a great way to incorporate the brilliance of artists such as Frank Lloyd Wright into our humble abode.

These were a great companion to the glasses!

Love the patterns and colors. Good quality stoneware. Mine had no defects. They work well with drinks and sweating cups so far.

This is my second set of stone FLW coasters. I grew up close enough to visit Taliesin West and have always been a huge fan. They do stain easily but in some ways that adds to the charm as they slowly evolve. I'm also pretty sure that would drive him absolutely crazy and he would probably take the coasters away from me for using them. C'est la vie

I love these coasters! They're unique and go well with my mid-century vibes. I am a bit concerned with the absorbency of them, as they seem to stain easily from coffee or juice, but I'm still a big fan. There are plenty of fun ways to stack them and will have your friends going "Oooo, pretty!"
