A VERY GOOD ITEM

Not the rock solid bellows of decades past but highly usable.
This bellows uses a bit of plastic in its construction but the bottom line is it does a great job, is planar and helps me get to three or four times lifesize with macro lenses. With Fotodiox adapter rings I can use older legacy lenses from just about any manufacturer and get great reproduction ratios that help me supply profitable images to high tech clients. I am currently using an older Micro Nikkor on a 5dmk2 for projects. One thing you should keep in mind is that there is no linkage between the camera and the lens, so if you don't have an aperture ring on the lens you are probably not going to be able to stop down. This means using pre-electronic macro lenses to do the work. There are a ton of older Nikon Macros and enlarging lenses that will work effectively with the right adapter ring. Just don't think you are going to use the latest EF macro in "stop down" mode. All in all a great value for the money.

Great value for money!
A great wee tool for macro photography. I've had a lot of fun with this so far and I intend doing a lot more! The only drawback with this is the small locking screw which has to be removed after use if you intend keeping the bellows in their box.
