CE23201 6-Cup (Cooked) Rice Cooker (3-cup uncooked) White

i've worn out a few of these that i usually pick up in chinatown. saw this while i was ordering something else & the price was comparable. the one i was using just stopped working so i needed to get another. just used it. cooked the rice well. didn't stick to the pot. i always coat with a small amount of oil to prevent sticking. i usually add lentils or other seasonings in with the rice. they turned out fine. i think it works well & does what it supposed to do. it does only make 3 cups though. the product specs say 6. i was expecting it to be a little larger than the ones i've had but it is a 3 cup cooker.

I bought mine in 2013 & it only recently broke. This thing is a bargain. It lasted 7 years!

Nice rice cooker. It replaced the same product that I believe lasted at least 6 years.

it is not a 6 cup i have them all...i boil my medical herbs..i have 3 ..of the 4 cups( i had 4 but 1 insert fell and it dented at the bottom..just a little corner..i though i could use it still..no-no...if it does not do full contact..with the electrical base..it over heats the base and it burned) i have 1 of the 6 cups the insert of the 6 pot fell... this insert is so fragile...(the 4 cups insert is thicker) that it dented like aluminum foil..and I KNOW ALREADY I CAN NOT USE IT...IT WILL OVER HEAT THE BASE AND THE ELECTRIC COOKER WILL BURN...been there done that..i am an expert now :-)))) this ice cooker is are very cheap....and it works for me... so i decided..to buy a 2 new ones....if there would the insert for sale i would buy it..but not available..so no choice ..but buy the whole enchilada....ok..ok..ok but YOU ARE SENDING A 3 CUP INSTEAD OF A 6 CUP.... FOR SOMEONE ...THAT CANT COMPARE...THEY WILL KEEP IT.. BUT I HAVE SO MANY OF THIS.. and i need 6 cup...now i have to boil 3 herbs..more water.... and my foreign doctor is good as Mother Theresa (yes he also volunteers with the poor)...he has saved me so many times...he got me out of the coma on 2016... ....pretty please....i need a 6 cup... ...help..help..help..YELP

The construction of this rice cooker is somewhat questionable. Be careful when using this item, sometimes it stays on warm instead of setting to cook. Great for white rice, not so much for brown rice. Would not leave this product unattended as rice does need to be stirred or you will end up with burned rice on the bottom of the metal pot. I like it for easily cooking small amounts of white rice. Unfortunately, I can get better results using the microwave or my old steamer for something more delicate like sushi rice.

the bottom douse not work correctly it should have a of switch the keep worm switch is an idea but you have to disconnect the pot to turn it off not good everything else is okey.
