Bought two of these, they're the perfect size for my single-caged rabbits. Wouldn't recommend for a large breed or a doe with kits, but great for single medium breeds or a couple of dwarfs. I don't recommend trying to fit a litter box in there, the whole point of the wire floor over the tray is to eliminate the need for one. Well-constructed, door clips are a little weird but still secure. My rabbits love not having to use a litter box or sit in dirty shavings, I love the simplicity of just taking out the tray to clean. Only criticisms are that the tray could be deeper, and that the urine guard is kind of useless. It doesn't attach well, it doesn't work properly if you're using the wire floor, and it has somewhat sharp edges. Within a day my male was tossing it around the cage so I just removed them.

I have purchased three so far. The first came in perfect condition, easy to set up as long as you slide the wire floor through the tray slot (Didn't read the instructions it might say to in there). The cage is a little flimsy I secured the ones staying up with zip ties just to be sure, Definitely don't trust a dog can't break into here. The latches are easy enough to open one handed but can be slightly sharp. Over all this makes good Transport, Emergency, and sick bay cages could be used as single grow out cage IF you have dwarf or mini's upto about 8-11 weeks. Definitely not recommended with giant breeds. The second set of cages came with broken Tray's. Broken black Rabbit in pictures is a adult mini rex (on the larger side) and the last pic is a 12 week old Harlequin Mini rex I had cage while cleaning there main pens. You can use these for quail but they will get poop outside of the cage and the poop will stick to the wire floor. Dec 2026 update I have 6-8 cages now; I still use these cages off an on for different creatures, had to transport Adult Muscovy ducks this fall. You can fit 1-2 hens per cage depending on size and length of journey and Drake's are large enough they are one per a cage. Also worked when I found out the fun way, one of my new female guinea pigs was pregnant this summer, had to go on a baby piggy hunt since they were small enough to escape a original normal guinea pig enclosure I had but these cages held them I put the side down on the cages and connected them with zip ties so the piggies had room to run and layered the floor with fleece potty pads to make the floor softer also works for escape artist guinea pigs that will chew out of anything less than metal. They haven't rusted or lost any paint from me scrubbing them clean from Quail and duck poop. 10/10 would recommend for anyone that deals with small critters.
