Student Workbook, Book B Grade 1 (Math in Focus: Singapore Math)

My daughter has tried Saxon K and 1, enVision 1, and many supplemental math books. We've probably bought some teachers on TpT a meal or two. And nothing truly "clicked" with her. She is extremely bright, so this was very frustrating for her. I didn't want her to give up on math so early, just because she couldn't "get it" as easy as she got everything else. THIS is super easy, uses lots of pictures to teach the lessons (and pictures that are RELEVANT to the material, not just clowns to distract!) and builds smoothly. Not overly repetitive, either! I highly rec. this product! The best part? She asks every day to do her math. I am EXCITED!

Love this newly revised textbook. Not many problems per page which can be a good or bad thing. Have to do more pages per day, but it’s not overwhelming to finish each page. Recommend this curriculum!

Really helps in aiding my child through lessons he learned in class that week... It is the same lesson plan being tough in his class

It says in good condition, but half of the book has been done. Totally waste of my money. I had to buy the brand new one.

一部で注目されているシンガポール式算数。本書は商品説明によると対象年齢は６歳とのこと。 中学で本格的に英語を習う子供のため、いくらなんでも簡単すぎるかと悩んだ末購入。結果正解だった。 これより前段階のテキストがあるのだろう。始まりは第10章の重さから。それも何gとか何kgとかではなく、どちらが重いか軽いかあるいは同じ重さか。非英語圏の人間にとっては算数というより比較級の勉強から始まる。 次ぐ第11章は絵によるグラフと棒グラフ。以後、下記の通り続く。 第12章 ４０までの数 第13章 ４０までの足し算・引き算 第14章 暗算 第15章 年・月・週・日・時・分 第16章 １００までの数 第17章 １００までの足し算・引き算 第18章 掛け算と割り算 第19章 お金 ６歳といえば小学１年生。レベル感と実践的な内容に驚く。特に最終章のお金はコインの写真を使っていくらか勉強する。 英語初心者の入門書以前の英語に触れるテキストとしても良い。
