RDINSCOS Wood Moisture Meter (Pin-type)

A really good meter for finding damp . No need of contact just holding it over the part to measure. Easy to setup for different materials. Easy to use.

It works. Shows relative humidity. I do not know how precise the numbers are, but in my case it is not important. I needed to pinpoint the source of (the place with) raised humidity and found it in the most unexpected place, in the middle of the adjacent to another building wall. Most probably the cover over the gap of two buildings is compromised, or there is a source of water coming up the wall. I find this tool very easy to use and very helpful for individual home use.

Good unit. Used it to check new deck boards, worked great. A little harder to get readings on firewood but worked. All in all easy to use, a good unit.
