Great comb for furry rescue ragdoll . It seems to calm him down ( much needed as didn’t get the ragdoll memo of being mellow etc ) . Good for shifting the fluffy pantaloon bits and keeps him happy so I am !

Excellent for detangling longhaired cat's matted hair.

I bought this comb for my 7 month old long haired cat. My other cats had always been short hair so this was my first time looking after one with long hair. Despite daily grooming the brush I had previously bought was not coping with her first spring moult. While researching I found that this comb had superb coments and it has genuinly lived up to those. The comb is very easy to use and the handle comfortable to hold. The comb removes any tangles all the way to her skin without causing her discomfort and she regularily purrs during grooming. It is really good at gently removing tangles and plant debry from her tummy, under her arms and the backs of her legs. Daily use has significantly reduced the number of tufts of fur left on carpets and furnishings and her fur is cleaner. Most of the fur removed remains around the comb with very little puffing up into the air but I do find going over her with a damp brush removes any remaining loose fur. I would confidently recoment this comb to anyone.

I don't often write reviews, but after using this comb I felt I had to review it. I have a Ragdoll who hates being groomed, an NFC cross who is not much better and a Ragdoll cross who will only let you groom her back and her mane. I have tried so many combs over the years and had found one that was great for my British Short Hair cross, but not so much for these guys. So I read the reviews here and thought what have I got to lose? I tried it with Indie the Ragdoll first and he started purring as I groomed him, now there's a first. MiniMan the NFC let me groom the mats from his mane and Sefa saw the two boys getting attention and wanted in on the action. I have never had reactions like that before to any grooming brush or comb. This comb has a well designed handle so it is easy to hold onto if you have a wriggling cat you need to de mat. The tines are metal, which allows them to reach down to the undercoat, but they are rounded so they are gentle on the skin. The comb is a great size for my big cats, but might be a bit big if you have a small cat, and I don't think the design of the tines would work for a short haired cat. I was so impressed by this comb I took it to my son's who has the other half of the cat family a Ragdoll and 2 Ragdoll crosses, so I am just about to order a second comb because my son was so impressed with it he kept mine. If you have a long haired cat then this comb is definitely worth a try.

Larger than it looks in the picture so more suitable for a dog than a cat. The handle is comfortable and well made like the tines and I do groom my braver cats with it gently as they are moulting !

I use this to brush apart mats that my cat gets. It works really well. My cat loves how this feels as a regular brush. It helps grab excess fur. The tips are a little sharp, but still safe to use. Easy to use if your cat likes to be brushed.

I saw this type of comb recommended by a pet groomer I watch on YouTube. One of my long-haired cats gets horrific matted hair, especially in summer. Their normal brush was just not cutting it. This comb gets right to the undercoat and with a little finesse, you can get through the knots and mats and get them out. There was some complaining on my cat's part, but the trick is to not just "brush" through them but use the comb to slowly work it out from top to bottom (instead of going from the root upward). At least, that is what worked best for me. HIGHLY recommended for anyone with a long-haired cat with knots/mats!

Good detangler for our three dogs. Good purchase at a decent price.

The comb did manage to get loose fur and tangles. However my cat wasn't fond of it!! Will that ever happen? Not likely.
