This bed frame is amazing! We have had this bed frame for 5 years and several moves! The whole frame fits inside the back board piece so it made moving so easy. It is also really easy to put together, simple to disassemble, pretty sturdy and comfortable to lean against. It is high enough to have some storage under the bed as well. I also haven’t noticed and substantial creaking or squeaking! I would definitely buy again and totally worth the price. We LOVE it! Also it is easy to put together and set up. I am not a very handy female and I was able to set it up by myself without too much of a struggle!

This is the third time I've purchased this exact bed (2 queens and 1 king). I am incredibly impressed by the ease of assembly; it truly takes less than an hour for one person to put together. The bed is shipped with all parts zipped neatly inside of the headboard. The instructions are very easy to follow, it comes with extra screws, and a handy ratcheting allen wrench for use. This bed is very sturdy and quiet -- no noise coming from restless sleepers! Also, having recently moved, I loved how easy it was to disassemble and reassemble -- you can simply loosen the bolts and can leave them right in the frame so they don't get misplaced. Reassembly is intuitive so it was no problem that I had tossed the instructions. Great price and great quality. I highly recommend this bed to anyone looking for an affordable, easy, and nice looking bed frame.

I've now spent two nights on this bed frame. It has exceeded my expectation. I'm a big guy. 6'5" 265lbs and it is pretty sturdy. With a memory foam mattress I really don't feel any movement from my wife. It doesn't not sqeak or make noise when someone moves. I was worried about this as it is set up on hard floors. The packaging was nice. I was bummed when I first received it that the box was beat up pretty good. But it is a thick box and it's just a shipping box. There's another box that the product is in and it was still in pristine condition. The packaging from the factory is top notch. Well protected but also very easy to remove for assembly. You need no tools to assembly as everything is provided. Assembly took me about 30 minutes. It's a very good design and you can tell that they thought of a bunch of small details. The slats are held together by a Velcro band. The metal supports the slats sit on also have Velcro so it sticks to it nicely and doesn't move around or cause squeaks and creaks. There's also padding on the middle support to provide a nice solid surface for the slats to rest on. If you're looking for an inexpensive bed frame but also want a quality product, this is the bed frame for you. We have a Leesa mattress on this frame. The only thing I may do is put some thin plywood over the slats so that the memory foam mattress has a complete solid base instead of the slats. This is probably overkill and not needed, but it's just something I want to do.

I searched many online shopping sites looking for a king bed frame. I was beguiled by the look and reviews and the price of the Shalini bed. After all, all tufted/padded headboards seem to look the same. PROS: My king-size light gray bed is attractive. It came in a relatively small box, cleverly stuffed with everything needed to assemble the bed — all parts, etc., attractively ensconced in the headboard itself—cool Allen wrench included, which is the only tool you’ll need. The finished bed is very sturdy and, at least so far, noise-free. It’s definitely a lookalike to more expensive beds. CONS: The “tufted” headboard design is merely diamond-stitched on a flat piece of fabric with buttons attached in appropriate places. There’s nothing tufted about it. But it is padded! Due to the design, there’s a middle supporting “leg” on either side. Though somewhat indented a bit, these legs have already been responsible for a stubbed toe or two. I’m thinking of wrapping them in bubble wrap. The online assembly video goes too fast to be of much use. At least the printed instructions are there and are certainly more understandable than IKEA wordless instructions. And, fortunately I’ve assembled several pieces of IKEA-esque furniture, so I knew enough to know that no bolts were missing— because you had to know that these bolts were already screwed in place but you had to unscrew them a tad in order to attach the other components to complete assembly.

Anyone indecisive on whether to buy this or not definitely do it! I can’t imagine you can find anything out there that looks this nice, well built, and easy to assemble for this low of a price. Just moved out on my own and fits great in my room! Took my roommate and I approximately 30 minutes to put together and remake my bed. Also the whole thing arrived in 2 days before estimated shipping! Well done Zinus, and well done Amazon! I know I have to get some bigger nightstands so don’t judge! 1. Looks: Light/dark grey material that would look good in near any scenario. Awesome runnings down the sides that cover any of the frame showing. Very different but nonetheless stunning! 2. Sturdiness: I’m not a very big person, but I can imagine the way this thing is put together it can handle its weight! Lots and lots of support between the frame itself, as well as the boards supporting the mattress underneath. 3. Assembly: Like I had previously mentioned, it only took approximately 30 minutes to put together. No headaches, no troubles. This even came with extra bolts in case there was any missing. All of the parts came together in the back of the bed frame. Hard to believe it all fit in such a confined space but very neat! 4. Cost Cost is always one of the biggest principles to take into consideration when looking at furniture. You don’t want to buy anything too “cheap”, but I assure you, this bed frame is anything but “cheap”, and at the third of the cost of any other furniture/mattress store. I’ve always heard, “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”. Well this is an exception ;)

This bed is a great value for the money. It was fairly simple to put together. Assembly time was about 45 minutes. All pieces fit properly and securely. The needed Allen wrench was included. No other tools needed. The instructions were sufficient. Not great but good. The bed is quiet and sturdy. The mattress (Ghostbed) fits perfectly. It is not the fanciest bed in the world. Pictures are an accurate depiction of product. Adjust your expectations accordingly. Almost a year in this with zero issues. I'm 6' 3 at 240 lbs and it supports me very well. No creaking or any noise. It's also very stable. It stays put on my wood flooring just as it is. I did not use the adhesive strips on the slats. Mattress stays in place no problem. I would by it again too. A friend bought the queen size version a couple of months ago and is equally satisfied (I assembled that one too). Same experience as me so far. All parts are conveniently stored inside the headboard during shipping. Be sure to unzip it to look. This is actually a great feature for moving and storage. King size mattresses are 76 x 80. If you are short on one side, like the length, and the mattress overhangs on the width - rotate your mattress 90 degrees. Finally, it is very quiet during those private moments. Update at 33 months: Still good! Was starting to hear a little creaking here and there. Tightened all Allen bolts back up- 90% of it went away. The fabric on the headboard is holding up great.

I purchased this bed as a queen several years ago. We just upgraded to a king and I decided I wanted to try a different frame. We ordered something off Wayfair and it was horribly made. I had to pay $75 to return it. We decided to get this bed again, but in a different colour. It is so well made, and so quick and easy to put together. I would buy this bed over and over again. Lesson learned!

The bed arrived in 2 days with prime. It was well packaged. Everything was included inside the headboard. It was very heavy for me to manouver. I read the instructions but still felt the need to find a video of someone assembling the same bed. It was easier to understand after seeing the video. I am a senior and managed to assemble the bed myself in just over an hour. Someone with help could easily do it in half that time. The ratchet tool included made the job easier than just an Allen key for me. All hardware was included and labeled. It is a very attractive bed and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone . I would also order from the company again based on my experience. It is now set up in my guest room awaiting its trial run. I am pleased with my purchase.

Absolutely perfect! I was hesitant to buy a bedframe online but this is exactly what I was looking for and super easy to put together! The fact that they fit everything you need into the head frame is so great! Quality materials and very steardy frame. Will be purchasing for my king size bed in the future. This is the 4th Zinus bed frame I've bought, one for my old bed, two for family members, and this one. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I've been getting the folding platform bases, because of the perfect balance of low price, excellent quality and silence, and ease of assembly/disassembly/moving. Having just gotten a new mattress, I wanted something a little more decorative, so I sprung for this upholstered frame, and so far it's great! This is obviously more expensive than the folding platform bases Zinus makes, but to be honest, compared with similar frames I've seen in other places, they're still very reasonably priced, so no complaints there. This is also considerably more difficult to assemble, but that is no surprise in comparison, since their folding bases literally go together or apart in 5 minutes assembled by one person, being shipped almost entirely assembled and just unfolded and screwing on 4 wing nuts. That being said, I assembled it in around an hour, and a good 10 minutes of that was just getting it out of the box, since a second person would be really helpful for that. All tools needed are included, and the instructions are clear and easily understood. The fact that all pieces are contained inside the headboard continues Zinus' tradition of making their bed frames easy to move, which I really liked about the platform bases. This will obviously take a lot longer to disassemble than those, but I bet knowing how it goes together now, I could likely take the whole thing apart in about 20 minutes, and reassemble it in half an hour or so. It's only really 8 pieces, and 2 rolls of slats, so total 10 pieces and about a dozen Allen screws (OH, and the legs. Add 4 legs, which are sort of pieces and sort of fasteners). The tools provided are a regular Allen key, and a really interesting ratcheting Allen wrench thing which works really well for being such a basic thing. Ikea could seriously take notes. I might even use it for other Allen bolts, because it's neat! Once I had it put together, and having tightened down all the screws properly, I was unsurprised to find that it is equally as silent as my other Zinus frames. This is my favorite thing about their frames, they make ZERO noise, as long as you put them together properly. My platform base from my old bed has been completely silent for about 4 years now, which I have never experienced with any other frame. I have rubber glides under each leg because I'm on laminate floors, and that's all that is needed. I have never needed to re-tighten the wing nuts in that entire time. PROTIP: Just like when assembling anything else, you want to: A: Make sure you don't tighten any fasteners completely until the whole thing is together. This keeps both sides equal in terms of tension and makes sure everything is square. B: When you do make the final tightening of the fasteners, make sure they're good and tight. If you don't tighten the bolts/screws enough, they will back off and that's where your squeaks and rattles come from in the future. Overall, I am so far 100% satisfied. If I run into any problems, I will update the review. Considering the luck I've had with Zinus' products thus far, I don't think that's going to be an issue. I could be wrong though, considering how different this type of frame is from the ones I've had before. That being said, there is every sign of forethought and careful engineering here, so I don't think there will be any problems.

Love this bed. A beautiful colour, nice quality fabric and super sturdy. All the piece came in the headboard and assembled very easily, it even came with a Allen key wrench, that maybe wasn't the bed quality but was super handy. I wish the headboard was a bit taller but that would have made it more expensive so I'm ok with it. The only quality issue that I could passible knit pick about is the corner of the fabric are not super crisp. I sew so I know how to make a nice sharp corner with fabric but I don't think it would be noticable to anyone who doesn't sew.
