PAC TR-4 Remote Turn-on Module , Black

Easy installation and set up, works for my DVD player in my car.

It tricks your stereo into thinking the park brake is on, so that you can unlock the features that require the parking brake to be on.

Didn’t work for me.

Used this when the amp wire wasn't working for my head-unit so that i could use another acc power. Works exactly as it should, my subwoofer doesn't pop when i turn on the truck. Note one thing for me: It does not reset instantly. So if you turn it on and turn the signal off and then back on again it quickly, it will not time delay. This is due to its design which is how any delay using a capacitor is going to work.

Very small so easy to fit behind the dash, clear instructions, worked as described using speaker wire as the trigger. Just one note: The 6 volts DC that is present between the speaker output on the factory stereo and ground stays on for about 30 seconds after the radio goes off. Also it will turn back on when remotely unlocking the doors. It will turn back off again though if you don't start the car. This has not caused any problem and seems to be normal operation of CAN-BUS systems in newer vehicles.

This product did not change anything, still pops.

This was purchased due to researching the audio upgrade in a 2011 C6 Corvette with the Alpine iLX-W650 head unit. Due to the Vette parking brake on the operating performance on the Alpine iLX-W650 head unit, this chip will send a signal allowing head unit to work to its best performance without moving the park brake lever up and down numerous times. This was soldered into the Alpine iLX-W650 head unit harness and not on the Corvette parking brake wires. This is just to keep the issue pretty clear!!!

Connected everything together and was only getting 8.8 volts from the output wire. Input/Trigger voltage was 6 volts. Needed 12 volts to turn on a remote amplifier, so this was of no help. Update: couldn't find another product that did what this product advertised so I reluctantly ordered this again hoping the first unit was an exception. Received what appears to be a newer version that was much smaller. This unit worked perfectly.

Lo usé para eliminar el parpadeo en la pantalla del coche, funcionó a la perfeccion.

Su funcionamiento no tiene queja. Solo podía conectarlo al negativo de la bocina de un canal trasero y es suficiente para que ponga en marcha el amplificador con 2 segundos de demora. Se supone que es 1 segundo pero el mio da 2. Solo se apaga cuando apago mi estereo (HU) o saco la llave del encendido. Gracias a esta cosa me ahorré cablear el encedido remoto y siento que hasta el ruido del alternador desapareción (a lo mejor solo me acostumbre). He notado que, aunque los productos de PAC son feos, realmente funcionan muy bien.
