An absolute must have when working on uneven driveways or mild inclines. Heavy duty, well made, grips perfectly. Easily storable/stackable. I won't work on a vehicle without them now. Also helpful at a boat ramp too, to give older family members piece of mind when launching/landing a boat. I cannot recommend them enough!!! EVERY garage should have a set or two or three!!! 10 out of 10.... will buy again.

Exactly what you need to buy - these are heavy duty, solid (one big hunk of rubber) and everything a wheel chock should be. Fit perfectly between a dual-axle trailer's 15" wheels. Couldn't be more pleased. (Frankly I have no idea how anyone could give this anything but 5 stars). Great product.

Our inventory of chocks for our small travel trailer: FOR TRAVEL: One set of small (1 lb 13 oz) hard rubber chocks remain packed in the travel bin when we are at home. This way, we do not have to Tetris the chocks into the travel bin each time we leave. Camping, we use the small chocks with X-chocks and leveling ramps (when needed). FOR HOME USE: Previously I had a set of pink/red heavy plastic chocks. Recently, they disappeared. We subbed the travel chocks, but I want a separate set for home use. THIS SET: This new set of chocks is for home use. These are made of grippy hard black rubber. Each chock weighs a touch over 4 lbs. The grooved bottom surface helps them grip on the relatively flat hard-surface driveway. Vendor text says the chock measures 8 x 4 x 6” high. The 8” includes the chock’s handle. The chock itself is 7 inches long. The handle adds another inch, although the handle does not touch the ground. The handle is centered so that I can whack the end with a rubber mallet. I am pleased that I ordered this set of 2 chocks when the price was reduced to about $18. I am surprised at the heft of these chocks. They are fine for our home use. Rating: very good My scale: 5 star = excellent (or has a special feature), 4 star = good/ very good (does what it should), 3 star = average (or has a minor flaw), 2 star = below average (multiple flaws or does not perform its function well), 1 star = avoid (does not fulfill its mission). I rarely use the term ‘perfect’ and I rarely assign 5 stars.

These wheel chocks are perfect for my camper (3500lb GVWR). Since I keep it at the back of my driveway where there is a pretty decent incline, there is a slight concern about it just rolling off down the hill. But when I have these under the wheels, I can drop my stabilizers and the whole setup feels very sturdy. Good stability when working in the camper. These are a perfect size and weight. Nice, heavy-duty rubber chocks that you can kick into place without them breaking (I'm looking at you, yellow plastic chocks that I've replaced with these). I did see some reviews complaining about the odor of rubber being strong. If I put my nose up to them I can understand that, but since I won't be curling up in bed with these chocks holding my head in place I don't see this as a problem. The smell proves that they're rubber I guess. Solid too.

Do NOT jack up your car without wheel chocks. These are inexpensive and could possibly save your life! You could use your parking brake but that will put unnecessary stress on the brakes and still may fail. These chocks won't. Used these several times when jacking my car up from the front, while the rear wheels remained on the ground as I was performing some routine maintenance on my car. They prevented any backward motion even when the parking brake was not engaged. Can't ask for much more!

They're accurate as described however upon receiving them, I decided that I probably wouldn't trust these to actually prevent a vehicle from rolling backwards. They're lighter than expected but the worst part is that there's just a thin, horizontal strip of rubber on the bottom to prevent them from sliding which doesn't seem like enough on smoother surfaces. I could be wrong, and maybe it's enough to do the job, but when there's risk of injury I wouldn't gamble here. Stick to rubber wheel chocks.
