Sugar in the Raw Stevia Sweetener With Dextrose,1g Packet (Pack of 800)

I am someone who needs to watch my weight, but I crave sweet coffee and iced tea. I don't like placing chemicals or processed sugars in my body. Who knows what the effects will finally be? There are so many conflicting studies, I think even the FDA is confused. Stevia is one product I can get behind for all my calorie free sweetness (well, most of it. My kids are still number one for sweetness!) The flavor is plant based, not chemically concocted. the flavor is very good as well, with no bitter aftertaste like other sweeteners. Because this is from the "In The Raw" company, you also know that there is minimal processing of the stevia. I used to buy this bulk sized box from a warehouse store, but am so happy to find it at Amazon. With no crowds, free shipping, and an even better price, what a deal!

I used Nutrasweet for years, but wanted to try this for heath benefits. It takes getting used to, but does not have the bitter nor the "funny" taste of other stevia I've tried. Recently released scientific studies have shown that it helps with sugar control, beyond just eliminating the use of sugar. I don't know if this works for me. I'll have to weight 5 month before next blood work. I don't mind the bit of dextrose it it. It's not going to kill me. I grew Stevia a few years ago in Salinas, CA. It grows well here, but I found that using the leaves directly gave too much of the "funny" taste. Too bad. Then there were the green bits of plant in my cereal and tea.

I have used Stevia for years now. Stevia is made from a plant and much easier to digest than regular sugar. The best part is there are no calories and no aftertaste like the bad aspartame products that are not healthy for you. I use this in my coffee and fresh squeezed lemonade. This is a great sugar substitute for the price!

Stevia is a great tasting sweetener as well as being a natural plant, so you can trust that it is not hurting your body like the other ones. I like to take it with me when I go out to lunch or dinner and have iced tea, but I go through the little 40 count boxes that I get from the store so frequently that I sought out this nice large quantity of 800 packs, so it will last longer and I can bring enough with me to share with my friends. Great value in the 800 box and while you can kind of price match by going into a walmart and buying 8 small boxes for a little less cost for their own brand I've yet to find empty bags (which the Walmart product sadly has had -- 30 out of 100 sweetener packets had no contents). Better still was delivered to my door so I no worrying about a being accused of being an under cover operative for Jadehelm pretending to be a shopper in a Walmart.
