Great all around lens and compact
Great lens and shoots amazing quality. I have a Sony FX30 combined with this lens. Reminder that a full frame lens zooms in 1.6x on Crop sensor cameras. 35MM gives me a 56MM image crop.

Amazing, but kind of big.
I love this lens, I do wish they could somehow make it smaller, or give me an F1.8 35mm lens that was just as sharp. I don't know that optically there is a better 35mm lens for Sony, it truly is an amazing lens.

Sharp as hell but equally heavy if not used to it.
The lens does what it’s supposed to do, works great and in low light and takes sharp pictures throughout the apertures. It’s been a while since I’ve shot with a good prime lens, so the weight caught me off guard especially on my A7Cii.

I didn’t come with the lens hood.
It looks like it was open box. When I took out the lens from the box and took out the lens cap, There were a lot of dust and particles on the lens. Also, the lens was on manual focus button Instead of the automatic focus Button Like any other New lens. There were also a Dent scratch at the back of the lens.
