K2 is the unknown vitamin. Together with Vitamins C and D, it will prevent osteoporosis and hardening of the arteries. The body doesn't produce this vitamin, but you can eat spinach, kale and other dark green foods for K1. However, K1 stays in your body a short time, while K2 remains longer. It is very beneficial and the only product I found that's kosher. The others say "Solgar's is certified kosher by KOF-K", but not Solgars K2. Not all Solgars products are kosher, however, there are sellers who use the text "Solgars is certified by the KOF-K". If kashrus means anything to you, buy this product. I brought it to the attention of the sellers their text was misleading, they thanked me, but ignored me.

I'm giving four out of five stars only because I don't know about the results yet, but, I strongly believe that they are good vitamins since I have learned how they are made. I also like that they come in a glass amber bottle and not in a plastic one, which is crucial in order to keep the vitamins fresh and without any chemicals or damage.

Just one capsule MADE ME QUITE ILL---COULD NOT BREATHE. This vitamin is made from SOY---the most polluted crop in this country (corn and oats follow such toxicity). If you are allergic or sensitive to soy you will want to avoid any brand of K2 because it causes great stomach distention as well as compromised breathing. I wish Amazon had a zero rating instead of making you choose at least one star, but it's the only way you can submit a rating.
